Great deal OP.

Stupid question... (red me if you want)

How do you qualify to purchase from Dell via Member Purchase Program?

Deal sucks because of shipping. Shipping increases the price by over 13%. That's horrible.

Is this one of those really small cases that go behind the monitor?

Lord, I don't really need one... but have one in my cart for $244 shipped. Used an AAA 6% off coupon. Decisions, decisions.

Just before I went to submit order, I thought it over...I hate the shipping and I really don't like the "slim" desktop.

Even with the 6% coupon I am passing

Just my 2 cents

As I posted at SD just now... I called them and the fine CSR waived the shipping charge and I have one on the way for $213.76 total. Thanks OP ! ( includes 6% AAA coupon and 4% DPA )

No it's not one of the small cases that goes behind a monitor. I already have one of these. It is a slimline case that's actually pretty attractive. The machine is very quiet (you barely hear the fan). I like mine a lot and I could buy another one if this one failed. The only thing I don't like about it is that if you want to add any cards they have to be 1/2 height cards (or whatever else they call them). It can't hold full size add on cards.

I got my coupon from e-junkie...have had it a couple weeks now and it finally came to good use. Best thing is that I am not even an AAA member.

I purchased two of these units from the Outlet last week for $339 each. But those have 2.53 core 2's in them, 4 GB ram and 500 GB hard drives. My son and myself are using those right now and they are excellent machines ! Looking now for a video card for the son's because he is a gamer. The integrated video for me is fine.

www.aaa.com/Dell you can get a coupon. However when I I apply my coupon I get the grey box popup "The coupon you have entered has been saved for this shopping session but NOT applied to your cart because the items in your cart do not meet the coupon criteria or other discounts are already in effect with which the coupon cannot be combined. Please review the coupon details for more information." So how do you get it to work??

I agree.. $197.92 plus tax for me makes for a wonderful deal. No way does this system suck. I bought two last week at the Outlet for $339 each, but they are 2.53 core twos with 500 gig hard drives and 4 GB ram. And they have the media card readers in them.

Tried that but it still will not deduct 6%

Dell Personal Account. Instead of using a credit card at checkout, they give you the option to save 4% more on the system by using your DPA.
