Today is the last day of the rebate. Be careful, you might have already done it back in June.

The rebate form says it is till 10/11/2008. I do have my doubts about the 30MB/s compact flash ones though. The product ID is different. It's asking for SDCFX3016GR, while the product on Adorama is SDCFX3016GA... They probably will deny the request if you get the 30MB/s edition.

However, they're acting like they never received my rebate for two 8GB cards. I emailed them copies of my submitted materials and they told me to call the visa card issuing house, which just told me a card was never issued (duh). I emailed again 9/23 and haven't had a response yet. Yes, they send prepaid Visa cards, not a check.
3, 8GB Sandisk III cards for $20 AR. That is HOT! Don't know what everyone else's problem is, but I'm in for 3. I got my $110 VISA card no problem from the last Sandisk rebate I did. Thanks OP, I do not read SD much.
Agree this is a hot deal. In for 3 8GB. Product codes did not match on the 4GB deal I did this spring, but still received rebate. If you are unsure, it's an easy call to check. I've found the folks doing the Sandisk rebates to be helpful.
Also, there is not a limit stated on the rebate form to the number of rebates that can be submitted.

Yeah. The Promotion number is 52999, same as previous one that I did in August. Really want to get 8GB CF cards this time. it is said 3 cards per redemption. what's the limit per address? thanks.
Pros:Reliable Best Uses:Image Storage Describe Yourself:Semi-Professional Bottom Line:No, I would not recommend this to a friend Good card, BADDDDDDD rebate promo i was going to buy 3 more, decided not to after problems with rebate on my first one card has very good performance, but im not recommeding it because of the borderline 'fraudulent' rebate practices
Got my rebate with no problems. I'm not convinced I'd be eligible a second go-round, so I'll pass, but if you didn't go in the first time, this is definitely a good deal.
In for 3x 16GB. $5 IDE-CF adapter for a 16GB SSD on the cheap, and then sell the extra two CF for a profit. Here's to praying the rebate doesn't get fouled up.
EDIT: bah, now I feel ill. It isn't just one person complaining about the rebate. 4/6 comments all complained about sandisk rebates. GRRRRR

Hmmm. is the 9/28 rebate different from the 11/11 one ?
I realized I'm still waiting on a rebate from this from earlier in the year. My rebate status says "mailed 8/19". How long does it take to get a check? It's been over a month!
OK. I just called SANDISK rebate center and confirmed 100% that multiple orders for these items under the same promo is allowed as long as we mail in 3 per order per form submission in one envelope. The representative assured that there is no limit of 1 submission per household under this promotion.

I think I read that in the terms and conditions. I want to know if we can make a second submission. I did a 1-card 16GB CF a few months ago, and kinda fancy a second now.
Regarding the part number on the faster cards... even Sandisk's website has the GA in the part number. Search for the part with GR at the end on sandisk.com and get nothing. Clearly, this is a mistake on the rebate form. I'm rolling the dice on three 16GB cards of the faster 30MB/sec variety. Thanks, OP!

yes you can get the exact same item again. no restrictions on that. I asked that too.

Well, considering I still haven't gotten my rebate from the first time through, I think I'll pass... thanks though.

in for 8GB X3
Buy 3 = 3*56.95 = 170.85 - $160 Rebate - 3% Live + .42stamp = $6.15 for 3 = $2.05 each
Buy 3 = 3*56.95 = 170.85 - $160 Rebate - 3% Live + .42stamp = $6.15 for 3 = $2.05 each Thanks, the price went down from yesterday night, called them and they said they would refund $9.
I called the rebate center, and while these things may never be 100% certain, I was told by the only-slightly-confused-sounding customer representative lady that as long as it is the "right thing", then the product ID doesn't have to match. When asked what the "right thing" is, I was told that for example the rebate is for a 2GB SD Extreme III card, and that's what you bought, then you'll get the rebate even though the product ID is wrong.
What this tells me is that there may be aggrevations related to this rebate, but I got my last Sandisk rebate back in April just fine, so I am going to give this a go.
Well, I called the Sandisk rebate center and spoke to Grace. This is what I was told: There is a limit of 9 cards total for this promotion (Promotion # 52999), but limited to 3 same cards per household, which means you can submit three 16GB cards in one redemption, and three 8GB cards (but not 16GB) in another redemtion. Hope it helps.

That is bullshit. Please read the rebate term again!
"Limit Three Cards per Redemption Claim".
No idea where "There is a limit of 9 cards total for this promotion" came from???
I just did a quick check. When you check these card models in the other sites listed on the rebate, they do not show any rebate for these cards listed by Adorama as qualify for a rebate. Now I am a little confuse. Is this a valid rebate or not?

No idea where "There is a limit of 9 cards total for this promotion" came from???Wouldn't be the first time a rebate house has restrictions they're told to follow that don't make it on the rebate form. Not saying you won't get the rebates, just means you might have to fight for them.
Believing the word of some random CSR seems pretty risky. Unless I got it in writing, I would be leery to believe that the rebate would apply to more than 3 cards (even if the cards were different).

I am worried about this also. Tempted to go for it but only GR is listed as a valid model#.

Slickone said: If you're paying for something that's more than what's on the card, will it still go through, then the register saying that you owe the difference left after the card's amount used up?No, you have to tell the cashier to enter the exact amount that's left on the card. The register will deduct that, then show the remaining balance due.
