It always amazes me how people won't ever bother to read the entire post. No matter how explicitly OP would state in title or the post that coupon starts @6:30 PM, 14 hours in advance, won't work yet... there will always be a weenie who would try a coupon immediately and complain that coupon does not work yet.

I assume this sale will be similar to previous ones, meaning the pricing schedule should be something like:

Next 2000 customers: $2.49
Next 2000 customers: $4.99

So even if you miss the first group, the second group pricing is not too bad.

I picked up one of these the last time it was $2.49. The cable is much longer than the OEM apple one, but requires that you press the sides to unhook it from your device. This almost cost me a new iPhone since my dog's tail caught the cable and whipped my iPhone off my desk and onto the floor. Fortunately, no damage was done, but now I make sure the cable is well away from tails.
