After tax, it came out to be $3.29 AR, which is a really hot deal for a color printer, scanner, copier, & fax machine!

Any personal thoughts on this item, its refurbished status, or the rebate? My girlfriend's roommate is in search of a printer and I'd like to tell her about this one, but do not want to mislead her. Thanks.

I've gotten my rebates no problem from rebateshq.com. I just filled everything out online and sent in the printout provided by them with the UPC and receipt. The printout form they provide already has all your info on it with a bar code, so all they do is scan it. Took about 6 weeks to get my rebates.

abacus, mentioned in this discussion, sells $2.25 per color (need 4) or looks like easy to self refill

Pretty effin hot, considering it seems to have built in wireless? Will make networking a breeze.

LC-41 Ink Carts can be had for cheap. Always buy from Amazon from a seller called "TrueColor Inks"

About $15 for 8 cartridges.

This is a awesome deal!

Quick Question- Did someone read any language in the rebate form which indicates if the rebate is valid on Refurbished products too? I could not find any. In the past, Brother Refurbished products I have bought come in original box, so I am guessing, getting a copy of UPC should not be a issue and the rebate should work.

Edit: In for 1. In the past, I have received Brother Refurn Printer with new ink carts. The cost of ink carts alone cover the cost of this item (the $9.98 I paid in shipping to NJ).

Edit 2: Looks like it was a price mistake. My order got cancelled.

I put in my order at 4:44 AM EDT this morning. I have still not gotten any e-mail confirmation of the sale. There is still a hold on my credit card for this purchase.

When I try to look up the order on their web site (I ordered it as a guest user) I can not find it.

So, anyone that has experience with frys.com, can you tell me what this all means?

no confirmation email from frys.com when ordered (in store pick up)
got an email from local store saying ready to pick up
when i went to local store, clerk said cc is just holding purpose and he needs to verify but i used virtual number
so used one of my cc instead

this is included in the email from local store:
Your credit card will not be charged until you pick up your order.

not sure if you chose delivery option
it's pretty good one to use

No, I payed for shipping, no Frys in NJ.

Anyway, my order showed up on their web site this evening and it says it was shipped today!!!

They provided a DHL tracking number, but it does not show up on DHL's site yet.

Anyway, looks like I'm good.
