Mine arrived today (ordered it yesterday). Box says "New 3-Year Limited Warranty". Checking online indicates the warranty expires 19-September-2011.
Drive says "Product of Thailand", "DiamondMax 7200.11".

Link is dead, was unable to find the drive by searching the Staples website. Must have been clearance and now removed.

Original deal was supposed to be good until 10/18. But it's gone. They pulled the SKU.

Hmmm.. I wanted to report on something.

I've switched out a Seagate 250gig (7200.10) SATA with this drive a few days ago. Today, when I turn on my PC, it gave me a "Hard disk read failure" (or something like that). I turned off the PC and back on again and I'm ok again....

I'm very worried now. I do remember some muffled clicks every once in a while...

I'm backing up all my data. But otherwise, this drive performs noticably better than the Seagate (suppose to one of those 1 platter SATA2 7200.11 drives disguized as a 7200.10)... (Sandra benchmark 85.3 vs. the seagate's 76.91 on a faster Intel PC)
