Just curious what some of you create PDF's for? Just on the job reasons?

I use PrimoPDF which is totally free. Anything that you send to the printer can be sent to PrimoPDF which creates the PDF file. So you can use any program to create what you want and then send it to PrimoPDF.

Props to PrimoPDF.

Foxonic is a 30-day trial? That's not free.

Unless I am missing something I agree with Vaporguy. Come on guys verify your info before building up hopes. This "free software" is only trial-period free isn't it...

With the possible exceptions of watermarking and headers, I see nothing this program offers over pdf creator (which does support limited 'stamping' of printed documents). Overall, it seems to have much less functionality. Sure, if you download this program today, it is free. It is also closed sourced and unsupported. You will not be given any updates without paying. You are only allowed to use it for personal use. Given the large variety of open source, "free" (in every sense of the word) alternatives, why would anyone install this junk?

pdf995 is free but you have to see web-based ads --> quite ignoring
PDFcreator and CutePdf are okay... In term of more features.. I would say PDFcreator (ie it can hold print queues, open file after pdf is been created..

Never heard of PrimoPDF but I give it a try.

FYI... You can also try Foxit Reader, its not as bloated as Adobe Reader
FoxIt Reader

You can use iText, I haven't use it yet but from what I read it can do what you want iText

Does any more of a software that "queues" all print job and then write it to a single file? I know PDF creator queues print jobs but it writes individual files for each job.

It's not a trial version. You have to activate it today(read the readme.txt file when you download) and it's yours to keep on the computer you installed it on today. If your pc crashes and you replace the harddrive, you won't be able to reinstall it.
