Thanks! From a camera site: "The Nikon D80 is one of the first electronic devices to support the new SDHC standard." |

Thanks! If you took a minute to look at Nikons website, then you would see that your camera does support SDHC |

"Price - The price for this product has been reduced from $19.95 to $9.99." the card was only 19.99 to begin with, I dont see the big deal. |

the card was only 19.99 to begin with, I dont see the big deal. 50% off with free shipping is a pretty big deal. Sure peanuts are peanuts, but everyone has a different level for peanuts. |

the card was only 19.99 to begin with, I dont see the big deal. So iff a Wii hased been reduced from $249.99 to $149.99, you wouldn't think that would be a good deal?!?! |

the card was only 19.99 to begin with, I dont see the big deal. 8GB SDHC cards were $30+ for brands like Transcend, pqi, A-data, as recently as June; brands like Sandisk and Crucial were going for $45+. There has been quite a decline in prices, yes, but $9.99 for an 8GB SDHC (of any brand) is a fabulous deal right now, well, as long as you have or will soon acquire a device that can use the HC. (Don't forget to get a reader if you don't already have an SDHC one.) |

Yes it will. The DSC-T70 is a relatively new camera (2007). Absolutely wrong! It's a Sony, so it needs expensive proprietary media. It uses Memory Stick Duo or Memory Stick Duo Pro, not SDHC. |

Thanks! I use a 4gb SDHC in my D80 and it works great. It should not be a problem. I'm going to order one tomorrow! |

the card was only 19.99 to begin with, I dont see the big deal. You sir, are an idiot. 50% off anything that is regulary prived at fair market value is a great deal. Throw in free shipping and no tax for many people, and it's even hotter. I will throw a few of these in my SDHC card reader and I have a very cheap and fast (and sort of swappable) USB drive |

(Don't forget to get a reader if you don't already have an SDHC one.) Very true- I jumped on 2 class 4 8gb sandisk cards @ $15 each earlier this summer. Crucial is a great brand and for class 6 cards, this is an absolute steal. That having been said, flash prices are trending downwards, so in three months we may laugh at paying $9.99 for only 8gb! |

Thanks! I use a 4gb SDHC in my D80 and it works great. It should not be a problem. I'm going to order one tomorrow! Thanks topsales, I just received my D-80 as a gift, but with no SDHC card. I realize the D-80 needs an SDHC card but have been confused on what I should use optimally. Have been doing a lot of reading on the web and Nikon's site. Seems that the SanDisk Extreme III is recommended, but saw it says "30/mb's" which I now know is the "read" speed. But have been looking for a SDHC card that has the best "write" speed for the D-80. Done some homework and this looks to be good (Class 6). So, hopefully I can snag one tomorrow @ 11 am PST. Thanks again! Also, thanks to iceui2 and cesiumvirus for your input.

I almost got a heart attack when I saw the title. I thought the deal was for a microSDHC I guess too much G1 will do that to you. Anybody knows a good deal on a class 6 microSDHC? |

Not too bright eh? "From website: 31MB of memory has been built into the camera. This is enough for around 13 shots. The camera is also compatible with the following memory sticks: Memory Stick Duo, Memory Stick PRO Duo. Memory Stick PRO Duo High Speed, Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo. " Sony cameras only use Memory Stick. AND, just about the only (not including card readers, duh) products that use memory sticks are Sony (stupid Sony!!). These are Secure Digital cards, not MS cards |
