FYI - Not to thread crap, but if you really want a frozen drink maker, go out and buy a Bar Boss from Vitamix. They are BY FAR the best and most reliable blender for this use... You will burn up 4 of these compared to 1 Bar Boss if you really make drinks regularly

The Bar Boss is just a blender. It will not shave the ice, and IMO the shaved ice is what makes this thing work so well (yes I have one). BTW, you can buy 5 of these at this price for what a Bar Boss costs, so I guess your math doesn't work out real well either.

I have this! I LOVE it! I did a houseparty.com party and got it, its case and accessories for free. Its a nice machine! Not sure I'd have paid $300 but what the heck? Off to try to score one for a Christmas gift!
