This charger is complete junk. I bought it from them on eBay and had to get a replacement after a week. The replacement lasted about a month. Spend money on a quality charger. It's not even worth .99 |

Thanks OP. I ordered one for my son's cheap, Virgin Mobile Flare LX165. Apparently price was dependant on # of orders, as price was $5.99 - $3.00 coupon, total $2.99, free standard shipping. I'm not doubting that it may be poor quality, but I figure at $2.99, we'll throw it in the glovebox, and if we find ourselves broke down on the side of the road, and the phone battery is dead, we may have a chance to charge it and call for help. Another possibility for you real cheap / miserly fellow FW's. I imagine charging your cellphone from house A/C costs a few cents over time, unlike charging from your vehicle's cigarette lighter, as (I understand), your vehicle's alternator ordinarily produces excess electricity - usually more than your car battery needs. So perhaps, if you're lucky, the savings in charging your phone in your vehicle would equal the cost of this charger, before it breaks??? |
