I'm not sure about the quality but the TV is over $1k everywhere else (i.e. $1050 at Amazon, $1200 at Sears) so for someone in the market for this TV, $775 shipped may be a hot deal.

It is at Second Act but labeled new not refurb! LINK

Yes, I had just noticed that on the site and was adding it while you guy's posted.
I guess for some, this may still be a good deal @ $775 shipped.

I agree, shipping kills the deal at $175 but it's available for pick up in most cities for $120:

Still a pretty good deal for $775 shipped IF it's a new tv and not refurb.

Minnesotans can pick up in Edina for $0 shipping.

Nice at $600, but tepid at $720 to $775 since it's only 720p, also Phillips generally not top quality.

Just warm. Not more. About a year ago I helped my friend to buy philips 50" plasma for $999 plus $5 shipping. Although it was refurb but purchased directly from philips.com. That was a deal. This is nothing. Especially what I admire most is $120 pickup charge. That is a good one.

This company should change their name to ClassAct. It takes class and balls to charge people $120.00 for the "priviledge" of spending own time and gas to come pick it up. Nice.....

I was just thinking the same thing.

Only $120 for me to drive down, load it in my truck and take it home? What a bargain!
