Dyson@amazon

Seems like a great deal for a smaller cleaning area than the DC14 @ $209.

Thank you. I had to bite.

Glad I was able to help...I just had to bite as well considering it was a dirt devil or a Dyson. Not much of a choice there for me.

I have an old Bissell vacuum which was bought from WalMart by $50 4 yrs ago, because I reinstalled new thick carpet, so I bought DC07 from Sears. The result showed Bissell works much more easier and better than DC07, the brush of DC07 always stucked with lots of carpet furs which dramatically reduce vacuum rapidly.

If you have thick carpet, don't buy DC07. The sales man in Sears told me that DC07 isn't good for hard wood floor because it can scratch floor.

I could see that the Bissell has less suction therefore not picking up as much and making it easier to use...we have a hoover that needs to be defurred every 2-3 used but i like the fact that more suction means more clean...at least IMHO. Thanks for the feedback.

Yes, long hairs do stick to the brush.

I cut the long hairs that are sticking to the brush and then the Dyson is able suck the hairs off the brush the next time I use it.

The problem is you have to defur the brush after you clean every 5-6 sqft
