Good program. I have the add-on version (free) and it's really useful for opening PDF files and converting them to HTML when I don't feel like spending an extra 5 seconds starting Adobe Reader.

Nitro PDF website indicates they will have a 64-bit version by end of 2008. Don't know if this will be a free upgrade but my guess would be yes.

You only qualify if you link to a site that pays FW money. Rule #1 is Post a Hot Deal from one of our affiliated merchants . No ca$h back from Frys, I am afraid.

This gets mostly good reviews and the price (if the rebate never arrives) is not that bad. If the rebate DOES come in, then smoking hot.

I've had a MIR fail with Frys, but I contacted Frys Corp and they got me my $$$.

Just purchased and installed this prog. Looks okay, but the one feature I wanted it for it doesn't have! I run through a few contracts and I always need to add my signature. This has a custom stamp feature, which can be a custom sig image file, but it doesn't support transparency, so all sigs will be on a white box background, not acceptable. Their website claims they're working on that havingthat ability, but nada for now.

60 is a little bit more to risk but with Fry's you will be fine.

Oh well, I didn't even think about the tee-shirt til after I posted it. It's nice to have the opportunity to give back to the FW community anyway.

FAR for a product like this is a no-brainer. Of course, there's always the chance that the MIR might go bad, but it's nice to keep something like this around, just in case.

Hi guys, Sascha here from Nitro PDF. To answer a few questions...
1) A Nitro 5 license gives you all 5.x upgrades for free.
2) 64-bit support is already available if you don't mind using the Nitro 5.5 public beta (final version will be formally released in 2-3 weeks)
3) Tranparent PNG issue will be fixed in Nitro 5.5 - in the meantime you'll need to use a transparent PDF. If any customers need a transparent PNG converted into a transparent PDF, I'm more than happy to do that for you (if you've brought our product that is) just contact the support team via our website and mention this forum + my name
3) The deal through Frys is completely legit and is a promotion being run by our US retail distributor Avanquest.
4) Nitro usually goes for $99 - whenever Frys or Avanquest run these deals they sell out pretty quick.

How do I get the Nitro convert button/option to show up in Word 2003? Or is it only avail via "print to.." (xp sys)

Also when a pdf is opened and altered there is no option to "save as..." another name in a different location, only save with same name & location.

And last but not least - I wish you'd add a powerful PDF file indexing and organizing component - take on PaperPort.
