Buying a new house so interested in the washer/dryer doorbuster. However, I will be out of town visiting family for the holidays. Does anyone know if Sears usually have their black friday deals online? |

Uh dude, these are scanned images which would require an optical character recognition software to automate that task. pdf to text software only works on rich text encoded style pdfs. I don't see your point in trying to discredit someone else's couple hours of effort when you obviously don't know what you're talking about. |

veloravan said:The "Kenmore Front Load High Efficiency Laundry Pair - $599.99" is an awesome deal. We plan to upgrade our set then. Ummm, the ad reads "$699.99 for the pair, final" not $599.99. The model numbers are #48102 for the Kenmore washer and #88042 for the dryer. Even at $699.99 that is a great price for the pair. Note: this is for the electric version. The gas versions are higher. Also, if you want the pedestals for these appliances, they are #46062 and are $99.99 each. The color is your basic white. Delivery is $65.00 which includes plugging the appliances in to see if they work. That's the extent of the "installation." For Sears to take away your old washer & dryer, it will cost you $10 each. Thus, for me (in Naples, FL) my total costs would be $699.99 + $99.99 x 2 = $199.98 (pedestals) + $65.00 (delivery) + $20.00 (take away old w & d) + 6% tax = $1044.07. That's still not a bad deal considering. I am still wondering if there is any way to shave off anything in the final total i.e. any other discounts (like opening up a Sears cc account) or opening a new cc account from a bank that might give me another discount on top of zero percent interest.? Can anyone here help? I'd be most appreciate. Thanks! |

The Samsung washer/dryer (model numbers: WF218ANW/DV218AEW) for $999(regular price is $1550) pair is a better deal I guess. This washer/dryer pair is big, quiet and efficient compared to the Kenmore ones that you get for $599. You can read the reviews at Sears.com for the Kenmore ones and they are not good. I could not find the Samsung models on Sears.com, may be they are special for thanksgiving sale. I have read a few reviews on lowes.com for the Samsung models and they seem to be good. Free delivery/installation and haul away (you can submit rebate online at Sears.com) Plus if you live in CA, (I am sure other states would have a similar rebate) $200 rebate(washer WF218ANW qualifies since it is a energy efficient washer) from PG&E and participating water district. You can check if you are serviced by one of the qualifying water districts at www.waterenergysavings.com. The purchase date should be before 12/31/08. I am planning to buy this one instead of the $599 Kenmore pair. Oh, I forgot, you can purchase this on friday/saturday (11/28 & 11/29) and this is not a doorbuster item. No need to go early. Also, if this is going to be available online at Sears.com, you can use discover card and get 5%, that's another $50 savings. Final price (assuming a $200 rebate and 5% discover card discount) $999 - $200 - $50 = $749 + tax(on $999) + free shipping/installation/haul-away(after online MIR). Hope this helps. |

Once again, the price on the other Kenmore washer/dryer BF deal is $699.99 not $599. . . . And perhaps your deal that you mention (the Samsung one) is better IF you want to spend $300 more. . . . |

On the first page, it says $599 for pair valid only from 5AM - NOON on friday, doorbuster deal. In a later page, it says $699 for pair valid from friday noon thru saturday. |

I'm not impressed with the price of the televisions they're selling on BF. There's been better deals throughout the year on tv's. What a shame. On the bright side...just another reason to sleep in and save my money. I love having a FatWallet! w00t |

They should have some $9.99 doorbusters. Sears ad is weak sauce this year. Although the $60 GC when you buy 4 tires is back again. I made that my last stop last year. Always nice to get something for free on an item I already had to buy. |

So now I hear that Sears is pulling the plug on this ad and editing certain items to make the prices better/worse. |
