you wont even be able to make a profit off the compaq WalMart is selling. no one wants compaqs anymore, thats the problem.
New manager 4 weeks ago.... New problem, no shopping carts... in the store. This is in each of 5 visits I have made during the day since he took over. Parking lot is loaded with them. No one to go get them.
Yesterday, same. A guy is sweeping the entrance area with a broom and dust pan. I tell him, no carts in store AGAIN. He says one of the cart machines used to push them is broke, ok use the other one, he says no persons on duty who can use it. I said OK, just go and get 5 or so at a time, as many as you can push. His answer, thats not his job. Unbelievable.

Huh? eBay costs, maybe 7% max. Sure you can sell and make money.

I think $50 +/- net will be the results. $300 total is ok.
Actually more than $300.00, I forgot the $30 rebate and the printer rebate, the power supply brings $25 and the ink $27 (minus sh and auction costs)

I wonder if you can use the Sony Card on the PS3? Essentially getting the PS3 for $399-$100 giftcard-$150 Sony rewards or $149 for the PS3.

WM takes all cc's I think, I have seen some places that do not take AMEX

Does anyone know if the $100 GC will be issued right away with the PS3 deal, so I can turn around and buy accessories for it?
Now if they only had a gun safe I could bury in the woods undetectable by metal detectors, that would make my christmas. Also, what am I going to do with all my lead hunting bullets? After this season, they will probably be illegal to hunt with like they already are in CA. Any sales on Barnes copper bullets at WalMart?

That only works if you buy it from SonyStyle.com and SonyStyle stores. BTW, the $150 promotion is over for new accounts. Now its just 24 months free interest instead.

My WalMart is open 24 hours a day - do I just stand there until 8am and then say I want the ps3 deal? I'm confused.
You should be there by 6 am and ask where to stand to get one of the few. WM had these 8 am deals last year, in my local 24 hour store, all was wheeled in at 8 am for the sale.
PikaPichu said: I'm afraid that the PS3s might be sold out by the time I get there. Do you guys think that if I buy one now, they'd match the deal on Saturday?
That may not work because of the gift card.... Buy both now. You could ask them.

When I park my car, if I see lots of shopping carts, I usually grab one; Because. . . I'm walking that way anyway and figure they don't have an unlimited supply at the door.
But I understand your plight. I can't believe the attitude they give me when I expect them to wipe my butt when I use their restroom. Unbelieveable.

The Compaq was on sale a month ago for the same price. C'mon WalMart. Drop it lower! You gotta move this inventory!

6am?!?!? My goodness - I don't want one THAT badly. Thanks for the information. Now I know for next time.

It does not. Sadly - that's the big downside to the ps3.
