I was seriously debating between the $199 24" and $399 32" LCD TV to used as monitor/TV. Can someone bought the $399 32" TV to tell me if it's a good choice to use as monitor that I look at from 2 feet away? The 24" inch is TN and I know it's not very clear, I don't know what panel 32" uses. |

They had a pricefixing lawsuit with the major panel manufactures that ended last week, The MC 24" is lowend, by january decent 24' lcd's will be had for this. to answer your question. The 24" lcd was wuxga+ which is a much higher resolution then the tv. I would go for the higher res when using as a monitor. The $399 lcd tv is low res and though fine for a tv, would disappoint as a computer monitor. |

The Sceptre 24" is a decent monitor but not great. The 32" HDTV for $399 looked nice at the store and has good reviews at Newegg and Costco. A 24" monitor is 1920x1200 where the 32" is 1920x1080, so you're not missing much in resolution and would make an excellent pc monitor. |

How was the line at the Santa Clara MC? I was thinking of going, but thought a 40 mile drive for disappointment wasn't worth it. By the reports of other MCs, I might have actually had a chance. Yes, no? |

The laptop computer and high and low end LCD TVs ( Sony brand & 399 1080p) were gone soon. One coupon per person. They limit 15-20 people every five minutes. I wait around 30-40 minutes. I got the 22 LCD monitor. Many people go with 24 LCD monitor because it is HDTV standard. They might have some great deal on Thanksgiving sale for Olevia LCD TV. IF you don't mind Olivia have filed chapter 11. |

Correct on the Sceptre 32"- for some reason everyone was under the impression it wasn't full 1080p on the VGA, which it is. That made that TV a smoking deal. I'm kicking myself in the butt for not going now, but hopeful they will offer it again on BF since at the moment I've got NOTHING else on the BF list to get out for. |

Interesting about the lines in the other MCs. I called the atlanta (marietta) one and they said it was busy but not that busy. I asked my cousin to go last night and they had 20 32" sceptres left! So I told him to pick one up for me. He picked up the 46" Sony. I'm pretty sure there are still some more there if anyone knows anyone in atlanta. -Raj |

No need to deal with a rebate and $50 more to get Costco's warranty. |

Has anyone gone in and still found the same price valid today? if so I'm heading there tomorrow. as far as returning/buying at Costco- why? Go to squaretrade and get a 3 year warranty and still save $10. Anything else is just silly. |
