It is limited to 1 coupon per person. This is how MC has done it in the past too. 1 coupon means just that: 1 coupon total. It doesn't mean 1 coupon per item. WTF?? That is utterly stupid then as well. Shahhere |

Enticed by the 22" LCD... but the customer reviews at Newegg (and elsewhere) are terrible... I just happen to be passing through Houston this weekend, some of that stuff looks dirt cheap, might have to run by
Are we reading the same reviews?
Newegg Review whoops, no we were not. I got to the 'egg from a Google search and pulled up this, just assumed it was their current 22" model. Damn, maybe I need to leave early for Houston on Saturday after all |

Equipment = $50 Activation = $30 Disconnect = $40 Monthly fee= $300+ tax =$350 in Texas assume you can disconnect in time.
Total= $470. Net = $220/year. Your math is pretty badly off, just as a heads-up. Equpiment = $14.99 in store Activation = $30 Disconnect = $40 * this MAY be possible to get waived or may not apply at all to RETAIL purchased devices, and you CAN avoid this if you call to cancel on the very day your contract expires, to avoid paying a cancel fee or anything for the next month. Hassle? Sure! Save you $40? Yep! Monthly fee = 14.99/month for the lowest "normal" service; or if you don't actually want service you can drop to a $4.99 "incoming only" plan and end up paying $7-8 a month with taxes and junk fees. Figure you're probably around $95 total with taxes and fees on the 4.99 plan. Total with the 4.99 plan if you're just after the discount:14.99 plus 30 plus 40 plus 95 = $180 or so, so you're making $60 on the deal. This goes up to $100 if you can remember to cancel on the exact date of contract expiration to avoid the $40 fee. It is also possible to avoid the fees and contract altogether via some method, but on the other site people haven't been very specific about how to do that. It is further possible (I.E. I have done this personally) to cancel Vonage prior to your full term and pay nothing, but this involves mailing equipment to them and really being lucky with the phone person as far as not having them try to claw back the bonus. |

The coupon thing isn't one coupon per person, it is one coupon per item per household. I've bought stuff from the Northern Cal location the last few years and they more than accommodate when they can. Their line control is first rate I think, especially seeing the mess that happens all the time at WalMart and Frys. I think I'll try to hit them up for some of the stuff since I'm not as young as I used to be being able to camp out for BF ads. Sigh. They normally pass out the coupons from the beginning of the line until all coupons have been distributed. One thing to keep in mind and most people don't realize it is that after 2:00 PM if the items haven't been claimed, they are sold on a first come first serve basis. 3 years ago I picked up 2 olevia tvs and a laptop because they had some left that weren't claimed. |

They way I read it, they will hand out ONE coupon period of any type per person in line Correct. Limit 1 Pre-Holiday coupon per household. |

Might be worth it to buy the laptop early and just stroll down in the morning to do that, if MC will allow.I tried it once a few years ago on a PC and got in a shouting match with the store manager. He claimed if I returned the item it would go back into inventory and the next person with a "ticket" would get it. (they handed out tickets to the first 50 people in line.) Now this was for BF, so perhaps pre-BF might be different, and things might have changed since then. My recommendation would be to call the store and see what their policy is. |

It should not be allowed. I hate when people do that before black Friday or in this case pre-black Friday and the number of products in stock is reduce before the sale starts. That should only be allowed on all other months of the year except for November for black Friday specials or related to black Friday. |

However with quantities in the 5 to 20 or 40 range and only ONE store in the SF bay area for example with a population of millions, does not make the odds good for scoring something without spending the night... I was planning to wake up at 7a on Sat and drive by to see if anyone was in line. I'm guessing there will be? |

the website says OOS for the laptop, probably won't show up in inventory till saturday morning. oh well. hope i dont have to get there too early. No, it will not work. They hand out exact 10 coupons. Even though they may have 30 laptops. |

not impressed by the 24" tn lcd monitor. I got an mva from office max last bf for $250. I think with the price fixing lawsuit $199 for tn will soon be a standard. Just my 2 cents as a heads up. |

No, it will not work. They hand out exact 10 coupons. Even though they may have 30 laptops. Yes, this is how it is done...no return rebuy. |
