Yup, sorry thought I put it in. Got a call from work while posting, sorry.


Not trying to threadcrap but I have a similar Philips system I bought for $100 refurb from their outlet a couple years ago. Just keep in mind that the impressive 1000 watts isn't quite what you'd expect and by no means a measure of quality. Bass is definitely punchy but like someone said earlier, would be good for a kids room or a small setup where audio quality isn't as important.


You do get what you pay for, but this is not bad for a kids room or college dorm. Hey, you would pay at least $50 for just the upconverting dvd player (which is really all I need), so the rest is a steal at $50 IMO...


dead now, but had lottsa features for the buck, IPOD docking, usb port to wathc pictures thru to TV, while playing music. OF course this is not a high end player, to say the bass is not that good is....well it was 99 bucks.
