oh man, Newegg is so great.. I bought this camera from them last week for $170.. and I just price matched it for a credit of $20s because of this deal. Green!
Hmmm ... Trying to decide to snag this deal, or wait on a better one closer to Christmas.
Decisions, decisions ...

there are two kinds of buyer's remorse that i find myself in. one is when you regret buying, and one is when you regret not buying.
I believe most vendors are giving an extended timeframe to return items, due to holiday season. If Newegg is also increasing their timeframe, you may be able to get this, and still have the chance to buy something else later.

Thanks OP!
Does anyone know what kind of "case" are they going to ship with this product? Any URL to find this info?

Could you please let me know the one you got last week, is it made in Japan or China?

One kind of remorse is cheaper than the other!
Newegg is still showing a 30 day, no refund policy on this. Amazon has an extended return, but a higher price and no bonus.

Any stackable coupon can make this even a hotter deal.
What stackable coupons?

in for 1, good deal. thanks OP! I used to own a canon SD630 -- great camera! until it was dropped and the display window has a crack in it. Camera worked for awhile but then the lense stop retracting. Hopefully this camera will be as good or better than the sd630.

If it has an optical viewfinder, it has a 2.5" LCD. No optical viewfinder = 3" LCD.
The brand new $400 SD990 IS has a 2.5" LCD just like this camera.

We've got 2 of these here at the office and they take fantastic closeups. The last one we bought from Newegg a month ago was $165 or so with a 2gb card and case, the first one about 6 months ago was $220 with 2gb card and NO case so this deal just keeps getting better.

Not that hot - purchased same camera on eBay with CashBack for $130 delivered but with 2GB memory card, extra battery, camera case, table tripod, USB card reader and cleaning kit. Seller actually upgraded me to 4GB for no additional cost

Because you thread crapped on this deal which is realistically obtainable for all of the Fatwallet community. Sourcing your post would have been posting a deal that was readily available to everyone. A single eBay merchant that has 4 to 5 available is very YMMV. Save the chest thumping of your deal for someone else. You have no clue.... The seller has listed these for MONTHS. Doing a list of completed auctions for this seller shows almost 500 completed listing of the Canon SD100, WOW! Yep, this seller is really limited on their inventory - this seller seems to have more quantity available than Newegg based on people who can't get the deal now.... so how readily available was the Newegg deal?
Thumping my chest? Certainly because I got a SWEET deal - $130 ($20 bucks less) for the same item plus more goodies, including extra battery, than Newegg's offering.
Just looked at this seller and seems like he's sold out now on 2GB bonus and only offering 8GB plus other bonus items for $145 after CB (originally listed 15, 13 currently available - auction listed for only 1 hour).
For what it's worth: From auction:
"This digital camera is manufacturer refurbished in New Condition."
lol.
Watching this unfold was hilarious. Looks like he'll be eating humble pie for Thanksgiving. I would never buy a digital camera by one of those eBay sellers.
