Does anyone know the difference between the 2? There is not enough reviews on the WEP210 to disqualify if for me. |

I've owned and lost two of the WEP200's. Just too small to keep track of the damn thing. Probably got sent to the dry cleaner in my shirt pocket or somehthing like that. In total I've probably tried about 10 different BT earpieces so far. Of the lot, the WEP200 was the most adequate. But frankly none of them were outstanding. They all have some limitation it seems---poor sound on one end or the other, inconveniently located buttons, too slow to answer the call, etc. Still waiting for the one that gets it all right. |

I ordered one WEP200 thanks. But, truthfully, I have no idea how these things work. I mean, do you have to dial on your phone and then press a button on the headset to make a call. Or, are these only for incoming calls? |

Or, are these only for incoming calls? it works both ways you mentioned, for the most part. for outgoing calls, you use your phone to dial and hit SEND on your phone. and then itll transmit all audit to your bluetooth headset and you can hear/speak out of the headset. there's a microphone on the headset, so the actual phone can be in your pocket, on the desk, etc, and the other person will be able to hear you. (i think most bluetooth has this), but if your phone has voice commands, you may not even need to use your phone to dial. I know with LG phones, you can hit VOICE COMMANDS, and then you can say something like, "CALL JOHN SMITH" and itll call that person for you without hving to hit any other buttons. so with bluetooth, you can hit the "CALL\HANGUP" button (its one button) on the bluetooth headset, and then you can say CALL JOHN SMITH without ever having to touch your phone. incoming calls: the headset will beep\ring and you can hit that CALL\HANGUP button on the headset to pick up. |

anybody know anything about this rebate house as far as how reliable their rebates are? it seems like a "New" rebate house that i've never dealt with before. status is at: http://sg.mycheckstatus.com which doesn't ring a bell from past rebates that i've done. |

But it says "Completed downloaded rebate form from Amazon.com must be included with a copy of original store-identified receipt." Is the store-identified receipt the confirmation page (which you can print three times to have originals), or the packing slip which comes with the shipped item (of which you only get one?) Thanks. |

I've had the WEP200 for nearly 2 1/4 years. It's great. Easy to clean with just a q-tip and alcohol. I've dropped it at least a dozen times and it still works just fine. It's battery life is longer than that of my Treo 755p, it never gives out. The only complaint I get is that "background" noise (music, tv, crowd noise, etc.) is amplified to the caller so it won't work well in a noisy area. |

Amazon is reliable seller. I don't think they will sell fake products. arneysha said:is it possible these are fake? I've been scammed into buying some before.... google "samsung wep200 fake" its all over the web. |

I'm not sure it would be Amazon's intentional fault. I just got my WEP200 today. It cannot be found by 2 Samsung phones (that are listed as supported right on Samsung's website), my Macbook with built-in BT, or my Vista machine with a BT dongle. To have 4 separate devices all not see the device, much less pair with it really makes it suspect to me. Everything looks like it is in order. The package did come with an ear loop, which according to some reports indicates that it is indeed a fake.
At any rate, I am going to need to return it the Amazon as it clearly isn't working (yes, it's fully charged, yes, it's on). These don't loop over the ear. They are purely in the ear. |

There was a discussion about this quite a while ago. Samsung HAS in fact started including over the ear loops with the WEP200, so if you got one, it is not an indication of a fake headset. The WEP200 I bought from Amazon half a year ago had this loop and has been working so well that I have no doubt that it's genuine Samsung.
