I too have been waiting for my live CashBack for the HP deals (over $400) to transfer to my bank account. Live.com says it's been paid a few days ago, but my checking account shows no deposit.

mrxalex319 said:Whats the Live.com E-mail I can email if I have not recived my Cash Back or if it got cancelled.

Also,

It says 920 rewarded in my live.com account into my bank account but my bank account does not reflect this. anyone else experience this?

I'm in the exact same boat. Requested cashout to my bank account on January 27. february 5 it showed as "rewarded" to my bank account. It still does not appear in my bank account. I contacted support and they told me it would appear in my bank account by the end of business February 11. Today is Februay 11. Still no money. the amount is $553.

Edit:

This whole thing has been such a ridiculous hassle from start to finish. I enjoy the laptop, but it was not worth it. Especially considering the fact that HP just came out with the $500 off coupon, I could have done that through fatwallet and not had to deal with this debacle. I will NEVER again use live.com. I don't care if they offer 75 percent off of eBay, it is just not worth this hassle and this stress.

Eeerrrggghhhh...add me to your list of scammed by microsoft...... still says rewarded Feb 5th, still no money in the bank. Very Very unprofessional and not worth this whole mess.

If someone has a bank account reward that actually posted, please let us know!

alert mods

In case anyone is wondering, I had reported this whole mess to the NY AG's office back when it microsoft wasn't answering emails and many people's CashBack wasn't showing up. They sent me a letter saying it was a valid complaint, and that they were contacting HP. They (the AG's office) also gave me a phone number that I could use to follow up with them. I'm going to give them a call, I'll report what is said in this thread.

I filled out the contact form about my bank transfer that supposedly posted on the Feb 5 but has yet to actually deposit to my account. I also was extra paranoid and read over the bank numbers multiple times before submission.

Here is the automated initial response that I received (a human should eventually respond later):

"Thank you for contacting Live Search CashBack Customer Support.

The support form you filled out suggests that you have requested payout but have not received any payment after 7 days.

We would like to help you resolve your question as quickly as possible, so we are sending you suggestions right away that may answer your question.

This is an automated response, so you may have already tried these steps, or they may not apply to your particular issue. If these suggestions, or the FAQ located here, do not address your issue, reply to this email and a specialist will contact you as soon as possible to assist you further.

Suggestions:

The most common reasons not seeing a payout of CashBack are:

· Right now, due to a high volume of requests for payments it might take as long as 21 days to receive payment. We apologize for any delay.

· For purchases made through eBay, per the terms and conditions in regards to that promotion, PayPal is the only option that you can request for pay out. There are no fees associated with any transfers from Live Search CashBack.

What you can do:

· Make sure that your account information (PayPal , bank account, or mailing address for checks) is correct in your CashBack account. If there is a problem with the payout, the money will be refunded to your CashBack account in approximately 30 days. At that point, you can request payment again and choose another reward method. Unfortunately, we can't expedite this process.

Thank you again for contacting CashBack Customer Support,

The Live Search CashBack Customer Support Team"

I wonder if they're waiting for some bailout money from the government...

I just noticed that sometime today, my "Rewarded" date changed from Feb. 5 to Feb. 13.
But there is still no money in my bank account.

alert mods

Mine was changed from the 5th to the 13th also. Since the 13th was Friday, I am guessing that another 7 days need to pass before we see anything. I sent an email (another one) telling them I would contact the AG's office if I don't hear from a live person.

This was my first transaction through live.com and it will be my last one.

If anyone finds a phone number for live.com, please post so we can attempt to get a live person.

PEACE

Why have you not responded to my emails? Today is February 15, and I still have not recieved the CashBack in my bank account, despite your assurance that I would recieve it by February 11. And I note that you have ignored my two previous emails. I am extremely upset with your company. If you are not willing to answer my email, I ask that you forward this email to your supervisor. I requested my CashBack in the amount of $553 on January 27. Today is february 15, it is 19 days later. This is completely unacceptable, and it is even more unacceptable that you have not responded to my emails. If I do not recieve at least an email from you or your supervisor in 48 hours, I will forward this matter on to law enforcement, as I feel that I have been the victim of fraud. I will also be filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the New York State Attorney General's Office.

Sincerely,

XXXXX

My reward date changed from Feb 5 to Feb 13 last week like a number of other peoples. The good news is I just checked my bank account this morning (2/17) and the CashBack has FINALLY deposited.

So after all the craziness, things turned out right. Whew...

Good luck folks and hang in there.

My account had the deposit this morning as well. I am glad that no further action was required in terms of getting MY money back, but what will follow is NEVER again using live.com for any further purchases. This has been the worst shopping experience with a major company I have ever had and do not wish to replicate.

Hope everyone else gets their money back today.

PEACE

I got the money today finally as well. And I echo your sentiments, but I'll go one step further. to the extent practicable and possible, I will never again buy another Microsoft or HP product. I'd gladly spend 50 percent more not to have to deal with these incompetents ever again.

cnIsfg said:Myself and others succesfully got MS Live CB paid on large HP purchases even using discounts and coupons while some others didn't. However that was very early in the MS Live CB program. MS and HP now does a more consistant job auditing purchases after the 60 day wait when you claim your Live CB. Now HP has proven a consistant policy of denying Live CB claims when either a HP coupon or instant savings was applied to your purchase through the HPShopping.com website. HP sends you a packing list with your purhcase(s) from HPShopping.com that shows ALL discount(s)(instant and coupon savings) you received on your HPShopping.com order. If threre is ANYTHING in this box you are SOL with MS Live CB. AS I posted in the other HP MS Live CB threads I have not seen one letigimate post here on FW or other sites claiming they have received MS Live CB with an HP purchase made since early September. In addition others here have repoted their negative HP MS Live CB experiences. Anyone who really belives HP/MS Live CB is goign to give them an additional 40% is simply delusional and will be very unhappy at the end of January when they request their MS LIve CB.

Who's delusional?

If you ever see cnIsfg posting in a thread, pass the word about this post and his history of posting false info.

I would like to find someone, who actually got CB from MS through HP with EPP/APP,

since my search of the slickdeals site and FW site trying to find at least one person, who actually got cache back from MS from HP's privies deals was fruitless. I have found quite a few, with CB pending though, but as far as I realized, it does not mean much, since they can refuse to pay and not much one can do to reverse it. They can use a discount clause as the excuse. I have ordered the laptop G70t by clicking on live CB 25% off and then logging in into epp, and I got pending email of $131 from MS CB. I have called HP and talked to customer service rep and his supervisor, they have told me that one can combine epp with CB, but they also added, that MS pays the CB and if I would not be paid I would have to contact MS Live. As it stands, I am 98% sure that CB will be denied for orders with EPP/APP and I am leaning towards the return until I can find someone with positive experience.

Thanks.
