I bought 2 laptops and 2 GPS. Does that seem like for business or resale?
It's not the number of items in the purchase, it's the total price!!!

I got 5 laptops for my family from Lenovo when Live.com did the 30% CashBack on them. I had $1000 CashBack clear and I requested the payment. What do you expect when you buy 5 laptops? Their terms clearly state that it is only valid when buying for personal use...and not business and resale.

How does 5 laptops proove that I am buying for business use? This is the same question I keep asking MS with no response. It was a good deal so I got everyone's Christmas gift early. As I said, I can PROOVE this! Both my sisters, my mom, my dad and me all are currently using these laptops right now! These are NOT business purchases (tho I do use mine for business and personal use).

If you buy a laptop, make sure you don't get Vista Business or I guess that would be grounds to cancel also right? I mean any laptop purchase could be considered a business purchase as they will probably be used at home and at work sometimes. I am just saying, the terms are very vague. MS can apparently decide for themselves who they want to deny and are not required to have ANY evidence to support their claim. I have PROOF, they don't, but they couldn't care less. BEWARE! I am certainly not risking it just to boost MS/HP stock for a few months.

if you buy 5 laptops, it's most likely not for personal use. if i were MS, i would assume that it's for business use or exploit.

When I configured the HP mini after the discount it came to $315 and no wireless N available. Cheapest wireless N dongle on Newegg is Roseville RXN-N1 for 24.99. The wind also has a six cell battery vs. HP mini 3 cell. In a shootout the Winds battery lasted 1/2 hour longer than the Asus. You'll probably only get 2 1/2 hours out of the 3 cell.

BTW, HP customer service has to be fast. Two of HP laptops that I own have been sent out for service three times.

This deal is nutty as to timing. The deal does not even go into effect until 10:00 AM ET. On BF, that's the time I'm usually piling back into bed after having been up all night snagging deals.

The folks out in the provinces need to realize 75% of the USA population is on either ET or on CT. Deals timed for PT are a snooze here in the real world. This is not even serious.

It goes for 12 hours dude. I don't really care when it starts. These are CTO, so they will build as many as there are orders.

why risk epp or anything else that give them reason to cancel it? the deal is good enuff w/o epp.
