james88 said:sweet, where do I purchase the Asus laptop. I search 1000HA doesn't come up. There ar eother threads on this, but search 'bay' or something on live.com until you get the eBay CashBack link on top of the search results. Then go to eBay and search for the Asus 1000ha. You need to use Buy It Now and Paypal. (All results from the live.com CashBack link will be BIN.) |

There was alot of fear when the 35% CB with eBay started. I might get red for saying this but MANY OF THE PEOPLE WHO HAD PAYMENTS DENIED VIOLATED THE TERMS OF SERVICE. Yes there are those that were denied because they fit a "resale profile" even though they did not purchase anything for resale. Keep it simple and read the terms of service. |

They previously offered live chat. I did chat with their CSR. All they could say is that "the research team is handling this issue". Now they eliminated the live chat. The only way is to email them. The following is the latest email I got from them: Hi XXX, Sorry for the inconvenience with your CashBack account. I am unable to answer the question. If you were denied your CashBack then you need keep replying to the email you received and explain your situation. If you do not have the email you can send your information to cashteam@microsoft.com. They are also associated with our legal team. I will send this to our research team but I am not sure they will be able to help you. Again sorry for the inconvenience with your CashBack account YYY, Live Search CashBack Support hammer45 said:I wish live.com had the reliability of FatWallet CashBack...too many people are getting screwed out of money right and left via live.com and there is no recourse, nor anyway to speak to a person at MS about it.

I purchased 2 laptops and 2 GPS in 3 orders. Is that for resale? Haven't any one bought 2 laptops in a row ever? COUPOWN said:There was alot of fear when the 35% CB with eBay started. You know what? They didn't tell me that they considered my purchase is for resale or business purpose, all they said is that I violated a eBay or Paypal rule. And after research, they said it is Paypal who denied this payment. They threw the ball to Paypal and tried to make the situation more complicated. As I mentioned earlier, I talked with Paypal marketing department and account specialist on the phone, and they said there is nothing wrong with my Paypal account. Will this 40% rebate work on HP Business products? The monitor I want to buy (LP2475W) is not available in their Home & Office section. |

Go to ZipZoomfly.com and see their bf deals. http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/Special/Black_Friday/2008/ZZF_BF20... Then on eBay go to the seller: zzfshopper This is ZipZoomfly.com account on eBay. If u can purchase it off of eBay using CashBack and then call them to adjust the price it makes a great deal. For example: MSI wind u100-422ca will be $380 tomorrow (note the price will change at 1am) on eBay it is $400 400 x .75 = 300 - 20 price adjustment= $280 |

Myself and others succesfully got MS Live CB paid on large HP purchases even using discounts and coupons while some others didn't. However that was very early in the MS Live CB program. MS and HP now does a more consistant job auditing purchases after the 60 day wait when you claim your Live CB. Now HP has proven a consistant policy of denying Live CB claims when either a HP coupon or instant savings was applied to your purchase through the HPShopping.com website. HP sends you a packing list with your purhcase(s) from HPShopping.com that shows ALL discount(s)(instant and coupon savings) you received on your HPShopping.com order. If threre is ANYTHING in this box you are SOL with MS Live CB. AS I posted in the other HP MS Live CB threads I have not seen one letigimate post here on FW or other sites claiming they have received MS Live CB with an HP purchase made since early September. In addition others here have repoted their negative HP MS Live CB experiences. Anyone who really belives HP/MS Live CB is goign to give them an additional 40% is simply delusional and will be very unhappy at the end of January when they request their MS LIve CB. |

I have a quick question. I only have $30 in my paypal account. If I were to buy something from eBay and pay with paypal to get the live casback, does paypal automatically get money from my bank account? I dont want to miss out on any deals and I think not having enough in paypal would hinder me from getting something. I would have transferred some money but it takes 5 business days for it transfer over and I just forgot. Would I still be able to buy and pay later after the money is cleared into my account? Thanks. |

Check your PP account and see what additional funding sources you listed. eg: credit card or bank account. |

40% MS CashBack.. just wanted to put out there that shopdiscover website has 10% CB when using the discover CC. but i'm still thinking of buying with my AMEX card for the extra year of warranty. has anyone tried this method by any chance? i know that Fat cash and MS CB combos are usually unsuccessful, but say you log on your shopdiscover card website for HP (10%) and then search live.com for HP MS CashBack (40%) and successfully logs in, would you think that will violate ToC? |

just tie a cc to your account and use that to pay. retardude48 said:I have a quick question. I only have $30 in my paypal account. All I can tell everyone is BE CAREFUL. Here is a copy of my generic email from Microsoft. I am not even addressed by name in this email, nor told exactly what rule I violated. I can promise you, enough LEGITMATE people are gonna get pissed about this blanket denial to an offer they signed up for and followed the terms and conditions, that I really believe a class action lawsuit will be brought against Microsoft within 1 year. I purchased 2 laptops for personal use.
