The T&C doesn't say you have to purchase them on the same receipt. I'm going to see if I can use the $5 off $25 coupon here (expires 11/29/2008) for each item. For some reason it doesn't have the coupon code, just the UPC.
Here's the directions for NAV 2009. Attach the following required proof of purchase for Norton AntiVirus 2009: Store Receipt Attach the following required proof of purchase for Select Tax Products: Store Receipt Mail this form and the proof of purchase to the following address:
Symantec ( Dept. 08-39506 ), PO Box 540029 EL PASO, TX 88554-0029
Please allow 8 - 10 weeks after we receive your submission to receive your rebate. Offers requiring activation and/or service agreements may take longer. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions portion of each particular offer for specific details.
Coupon came back 'denied' when I just went in- and they were sold out of items... plus more expensive than online. I'll do it online and save myself the hassle.
I am wondering if 30 off 150 coupon can be used with this bundle? The coupon's I checked on eBay all say "Minimum purchase requirement of $150 must be met with purchases to which no other coupon or instant savings offer applies. May not be combined with any other coupon." I am having hard time interpreting this statement. It could mean:
(1) If any item you purchase has a coupon applied (as in the case $9 coupon for NIS 2009) or instant savings, then coupon cannot be applied.
Or
(2) The total purchase amount of $150 must be after all other coupons or instant savings have been applied.
I am thinking (1) is more like it? Any opinions from Staples veterans?

coupon works e-junkie has them very cheap only possible problem might be ORIGINAL packing slip for most of the rebates (phone call should take care of that later)
Great deal! I tried around & just add the USB drive and both coupons work.

cicenemete said: Do the two upgrader rebates mean that you have to have previous versions of NAV and NIS in order to qualify? You can use each one to upgrade the other.
You can also try for: 08-30021 $10 USD Symantec Visa Prepaid Card on Norton Internet Security 2009 at Participating Retailers They may say that Staples is not a Participating Retailer for this rebate, but I think it is worth a shot. Has anyone received this MIR rebate along with any Staples Easy Rebates?

You'll be glad to know that, no - all you need is a previous version of any security software from any brand name.
The next question: can I use NAV to qualify for the NIS upgrade rebate, and vice versa? Technically, you can, but one of these days, the rebate center may call "shenannigans" on you.
Hey, can someone confirm if, once you apply for the two NAV rebates and the two NIS rebates, can you also apply for the Taxcut-NAV rebate, and the Taxcut-NIS rebate? Or will you run out of proofs of purchase/UPC codes, or do the rebates specifically invalidate one if you use the other?
*Edit* never mind, I noticed that the Taxcut-NAV and Taxcut-NIS rebates are EasyRebates, so all six rebates should go through just fine.

If I buy TaxCut Basic instead of TaxCut Premium, would I also get $50 back?
It seems the $20 + $30 SER also apply to TaxCut Basic, and I would make money for buying it.
darn, I didn't pay enough attention, and after I purchased the items Staples brought up a link to easy rebate 08-39521 - $30 USD Symantec Prepaid Card on Norton Internet Security 2009, instead of 08-32903 $40 USD Symantec Prepaid Card on Norton Internet Security 2009. Is there any way to rectify this once I've already submitted?

Is there any way to rectify this once I've already submitted? Just go back and add in the 08-32903. You should have 2 SER's for Norton AntiVirus and 2 SER's for Norton Internet Security. You have to mail in the 3rd rebate for each of them. It's 3 rebates for each, total of 6.

Thanks for the explanation. So, two came up automatically and I had to go back and enter the other two (the ones that expire today). 4 SERs, and 3 MIR (including the PNY drive) In answer to the previous question, no, it is not too late. I sent eBay questions to a couple of sellers, and when one responded, I went back and bought the coupon from him.

Where do you see that in the terms and conditions?
