The terms at the bottom of this page state: Receive 15% Cash Back on purchases of $100 or more ("Offer"). This offer applies to transactions at www.overstock.com when you use PayPal as the payment method. Offer begins December 1, 2008 and ends December 21, 2008. To receive this Offer, you must use a U.S. PayPal account in good standing and complete a qualifying purchase no later than December 21, 2008. The maximum amount of Cash Back per PayPal account is limited to $50 USD. The Cash Back payment will be deposited into your PayPal account by January 31, 2009.
The following transactions are excluded from this offer: PayPal Mobile transactions, PayPal Plug-In transactions (formerly named: Virtual Debit Card), gift certificate payments, PayPal Debit Card payments, automatic and/or recurring payments that you have scheduled, and PayPal Plus Credit Card/ eBay MasterCard payments not made through your PayPal account. If the payment is refunded or cancelled at any time, you are not eligible for the offer. If the payment is refunded after you receive the Cash Back, PayPal will deduct the Cash Back amount from your account.

Thanks OP. Just in time to do some holiday shopping. This offer combined nicely with Fat Cash (4 percent) and a coupon offer from Overstock for an additional 7 percent (Coupon Code 135835). I am not sure if the 7 percent coupon is a "one time only" use or not but I guess its worth trying. Free shipping today sweetened the deal even further.

Is Paypal broken? I've been trying to get this transaction to go through for an hour and I keep getting a, "sorry, you can't use Paypal right now, but choose from one of our other fine payment options" message.

I used one of the coupons from the Overstock coupon thread, and got 10%, rather than 7% off. Just something to consider if you're making any more purchases.

just found this in an email from paypal, searched before posting and found this thread. Seems like there should be some excellent deals with stacking coupons, paypal CashBack, and FatCash...

Thanks OP. Stacked a Cyber Monday and 7% coupon and paid with PP. Hopefully, I'll get the 15% back although I haven't received any indication that it is pending.
Found this coupon code (134877) for 10 percent off elsewhere on Fat Wallet.

Got my 15% just a day or two after my order shipped. There's still one or two things that haven't shipped (Dark Knight DVD is one), but my Paypal account has the funds from the transaction.
Use coupon code 134868 FIRST, to get 10% off the total purchase. You will need to go all the way to the last page of check out and click on the box "use promo code" then click back (to the previous page) and refresh so the 10% will show up. Then proceed with the checkout via PayPal to get your 15% CashBack.
I called PayPal and they said this promotion is still valid even though it does not show up on the Overstock site.

so do i have any recourse if i dont get the $50 back from paypal? About to pull the trigger on a 42" olevia hdtv which will be $439 shipped after all rebates and coupons.

Also do i need to use the link on the "review cart" page to go to paypal and not the link from the "billing, shipping, review" page? or does it matter?
Terms on the op's link. Can't find any current page w/ this offer valid for today or later, only on that random page which I wouldn't trust.

I just called PayPal and Overstock has ended the Paypal 15% CashBack promo. Paypal told me that many of these promotions are sponsored by the supplier.

made a purchase a few days ago over $100.. nothing showed up in paypal.
i made a purchase with their 15% Cash Back promo. placed order on the 4th, item shipped on the 8th, received Cash Back on the 9th, and received item on the 12th. i was really surprised to see the Cash Back so soon, but it was nice to have it before i got the item.

same here. Waiting for CashBack in paypal account. I also used Chase Rewards Plus 10%, and a 10% off overstock coupon code so hopefully this still goes through
