Dell Home has the Playstation 3 console (80GB) back for $400 - 20% code ZCFLR1BTX5Q1D$ [Exp 12/17] = $320 with free shipping. Includes one Dual shock Wireless Controller for PS3.
Apply the Playstaion Card here and get $150 credit on PS3. P.S. Dell is the SONY authorized dealer and eligible for the $150 credit.
Don't forget the 3% fat cash
The final price is 400-80(20% coupon)-150(CC credit)-12(3% fat cash)+tax =~185. It's really a hot deal.

They also have the Uncharted: Drake's Fortune Limited Edition Bundle, which starts at $499 and has a 160 GB HDD.
Also note that it takes awhile to get the CC (I don't think this is the instant one...) - I signed up for mine around a week ago and still haven't gotten it in the mail.
Not really a repost considering the original post was on 12/2 and was just updated with this coupon code and details.
Problem with the deal is that when you apply for the Playstation Credit card you get an instant decision approval, but the card won't arrive for 2 weeks and the offer ends on 12/31/2008.
Thanks pulled the trigger! Green I tried the 15% / 5% last night and they were both dead.

I've heard of this deal too but if you read the tearms. The Sony PS3 150 CB deal is good if you open the account by 1/31/09 and purchasse by 3/3/09. Anyone read it and feel differently? Curious if I am correct.
jjaa managed to get this deal entered twice (#887121 & #887117), so it is a true repost (of the "whoops" kind, not "did not bother to look for it" kind). Whoops.
As for the deal - I took advantage of it a year or so ago, but bought directly from the SonyStyle.com site. I got the 60gb version as they were phasing them out. My final cost was $350, which was a really good price at the time, but I am very jealous of this price. The $150 Cash Back was given to me in the form of a credit to my SonyStyle card account, and hit before my first payment was due.

The card info wasn't provided to me when I was approved. Just said I would receive the card within 2 weeks. And the OPs link showed 12/31/08 expiration
I posted for the first time and it didn't show up in forum after 10min. I thought there was sth wrong and so I reposted it.

The Dell post takes 20% off their original price of 459.98 not their discounted price of 399.99. 459.98- 92.00 = 367.98. whoops I selected the bundle with far cry included!! You are correct
If you didn't have this card already and want to apply now, please realize you will get instant approval. However you won't be able to get the card information right away. You can only place the order after you received the card by mail. For me, it took 4 days to receive the card. Please also realize that most likely this deal will expire when you receive your card. However there will be some similar deals around before Xmas. This is already the 2nd time Dell offers similar deal this month.
Just ordered one with my new Sony PlayStation card (that I got approved few minutes ago). The total came to $319 + $20 (tax) = $339.00. Now waiting for the $150 credit from Sony Card.
...Thanks OP!

Please call the number on your letter and they will ask you bunch of question like mother maiden name and they will approve it right on the phone and then ask them to transfer you to customer services and tell them that you got this card cuz of one Sony deal which is going to expire in few days, if they can do rush delivery on the card. Customer serivce will ask you two identification questions and will tell you that you will receive your card in 2 business day and they will ask you for day time phone number for verification. This is how I got mine. Good Luck

Call Chase bank with your Bank reference number and talkt to them and they can verify your information on the phone. It will save you two weeks.

How were you able to get your credit card no, if you got just approved?
I applied the Sony CC in august 3rd week, got an instant approval, used the temporary CC number and bought the PS3 which was then back-ordered. Once it was in stock, the order went through and also saw the $150 credit on my 1st statement...plus 0% interest for 12 months....PS3 for 250 bucks is unbeatable...plus got some bonus points (2400 points) from sonyrewards which gave me the PS3 Blu-ray remote for $1 (it was for 2500 points)...
c. Activate your card by calling the number on the card.
d. Purchase a PS3 at any authorized retailer. Note: You can purchase PS3 at any authorized retailer even at a discounted price, but I guess it should be at least $299 or more
e. Register your card here. Note: It could take up to 48 hours for your card to be recorded in their database after card activation
f. Upon registration, you will receive a MIR form by email for a $150 statement credit. Note: It could take up to 48 hours to receive the MIR form
g. Complete/Submit the rebate form and wait for 8-12 weeks to get the $150 statement credit.

ps3 card is a little different - have to buy ps3 !
"Apply now for the PlayStation® Card, be instantly approved and for a limited time receive a $150 card credit when you purchase a PLAYSTATION®3 system at SonyStyle.com or by calling 877-865-Sony (7669) with your new PlayStation Card1."
Does the 150 dollar credit come instantly or do we have to spend another 150 dollars with Sony card? I am assuming we can cash it out. Anyone with experience?

If you get your Playstaion Card through link2, you can get the INSTANT 150 off ONLY when you purchase a PS3 from Sonyrewards. Thus, from my understanding, if you got your card # and cvv2 number right after your application, that meaned you used the link2 to get your card. You are thus NOT eligle to get the 150 credit by purchasing the PS3 from Sony authorized retailers like Dell.

$150 credit?? How did you get $150? The offer is $100 credit when you purchase a Playstation 3.
