Shure SCL4 Instant Rebate! Purchase a set of Shure SCL4 Earbuds in white between December 16, 2008, and February 28, 2009, and receive $170 off instantly! Price shown reflects rebate.
$180.00 on Pricegrabber, normal retail is $250-$300+
All three retailers are owned by the same company. Music123 appears to charge sales tax. As far as I know, all three should qualify as Shure Authorized Retailers (see wiki...err..."Quick Summary" post).

Edited to add: It looks as if Guitar Center has them with the instant rebate as well-- link
I just want to say how much I love my Shure headphones. We spend hundreds on Mp3 players and, for lack of a different experience, are satisfied with the $5.00 ear buds they thrown in. I'm not an audiophile; can't tell you about the technical stuff. But, I can tell you that I have never experienced music out of my iPod or Zune that is as pleasurable as I get with my $100 Shure earbuds.
Green for Sanjoelo, might pick myself up a new pair of these!

Another dumb question, but how would these hold up as a workout earphone?

These come with multiple tips but I wouldn't recommend them for workouts.

The SE210s and SE110s are the new design, if I'm not mistaken. These are the updated version of the E series (E2C, E3C, etc.). These specifically are the 'updated' E3C and E4C.

They aren't bad for workouts at all, although you may have to let them "dry out."

Ordered one -- thanks OP and everyone who weighed in about these.
Thanks OP. In for a pair of the 4s. I have the E2c's and SE530's and love both of them. I don't use the 5's for workouts, etc since they were so darn expensive. At this price though the 4s will be perfect.

same here, I have SE530PTH, SE210, E3C, now for a SCL4.

Even if this were true, Shure will honor a warranty for all earphones from the date of manufacturer, which they can determine by looking at the headphone.
I sent in a pair I bought off of eBay and managed to get them replaced. VERY good customer service.

Both sites say they are OoS, but "due in 2-4 weeks".
I'm in for one, and hope it comes through. Thanks OP! -Dave
If you are willing to take a backorder risk, are ordering more than one pair and want to sweeten the deal: (1) Use FatCash to purchase a $100 e-certificate from Musician's Friend (2% FatCash); (2) Receive $100 e-certificate and $25 bonus certificate [$98 including FatCash]; (3) Purchase Shure headphones (coupon MF23 10/100 not applicable to Shure) using e-certificate; (4) Not certain if Cashbaq.com 4% will apply to purchase using certificates (but if it does, $5 Cashbaq signup bonus + 4% on purchase will get you to the Cashbaq $10 payment threshold)
I'm wanting something for flights (I don't really care all that much about sound quality, anything is fine with the roar of jet engines being drowned out!) It's between over-the-ear noise-cancelling headphones, and sound-isolation earphones. Can't decide. Certainly these are more convenient to carry, but are they the best choice for frequent fliers?
Musician Friend had canceled my second order for these at the $79.99 deal. I just noticed that they were back in stock so I called up customer service to inquire why my last order had been canceled from January (I acted super naive). Bottom line, after a quick check by the CSR, they were able to honor my previous order and I have a pair on the way.
