I just got this from a friend and thought I would pass it on. Only good at Staples (B&M and Online) and only on Monday 12/22. 199 - 40IR - 159.99MIR = FREE

Happy Holidays

Wow - that would be a great deal!

Damn, beat me to it to posting this. : )

Add a $30 of $150 coupon and make a few $$$. I'll definitely be grabbing this one. Thanks!

cooll.. great one.. thanks op

Great deal! Thanks for the post - probably best to be in store rather than wait online.

Very nice find OP! I wonder why you can't find the item on Staples' website though...

As far as I know its also valid online.

In the Intuit internal email it says at the bottom:
The offer is one day only; you can find the nearest Staples store at www.staples.com or buy on-line.

Thank you happywakko and Casper42!

I'm heading out to Staples b&m now to grab a couple of 'em.

I had an older ver and during one of their automatic updates it got corrupted. I called them but intuit woudn't assist since the original prg had "sunsetted!" I was so po'd I started running a 'trial' version, but I much prefer legit programs so this wil come in handy.

If I get two copies can I network them so two users can work on the same acct?

Thanks again!

Have you read any of the online review and comments on the 2009 version? This promotion appears to have less to do with helping small business than damage control by Intuit to recover from the buggy initial release. It is also discounted on Amazon to $99.99, with free shipping.

(Sorry, in advance, for being "that guy", but) are you referencing a coupon for purchase, or would you kindly provide a link?

Thanks!

par for the course for intuit. Release early, patch quickly. Most the bad reviews had to do with iffy online bank synchro, and *i heard* that is supposed to be fixed in the latest patch.

The 2008 failed to run on vista. Not sure if this is fixed by now.

I've been running QuickBooks '99 for ten years. It has been bullet proof for my company. No need to upgrade if the reviews are bad.

Figures, I have a 25/75 that expires Sunday (actually Saturday but with the one day grace I could use it Sunday) .

I just purchased it 10 days ago when Amazon.com had it for $80, and I have download to my pc. Does anybody know if I can buy it at Staples and return it to Amazon? Thanks a lot!

And I thought I was the only one! I'm still using QB Pro 2000 for my small business. Its been great. Have never had a problem that wasn't my fault.

Knock, Knock, deal is on Monday, one day after Grace Sunday. -

You did see that it is Monday only right? Plus the flyer says one copy per person.

Where one might get Staples coupons?

Saw that. Don't expect any probs doing a return/repurchase with a friend in tow. Just want to be sure that it's not OOS by the time I get there on Mon.

I am obviously missing the punch line to that joke, unless you can explain how to get it to work on Monday (and the coupon is online only so it's not like I could ask a B&M manager to override it).

It is apparently out of stock on-line so that doesn't give me much hope of getting it Monday through the website.

Put the SKU 958686 (the SKU of the promotion) in here and it says discontinued. Maybe this promotion is just about flushing an old SKU from the shelves.

Free is good.

I'm also running an old version at home and it's fine. Even here at work I have an older version with no plans to upgrade.

I think you mean 758686
also showing discontinued...

doe anybody know what the rebate terms are?

is it an "upgrade" rebate that requires competitve or previous purchase?

thanks!

The empty boxes on the shelf are marked 758686 but the only available SKU was 406642.

I knew I wasn't the only one out there! I started out my business with QB Pro 6.0. During the crazy stacking coupons days at Staples, I decided to upgrade that version to QB Pro 2003 for only $60 AR. If I can order it online Monday for free AR, I'll get it just to play around with. Thanks for the heads up OP!

There's no link. He's talking about getting a coupon from eBay.

I talked to a Staples rep a couple weeks ago, and she claimed that those online coupons have a two day grace period, not just one. The rep sounded surprised that I couldn't get it to work past the expiration date online, so she applied it manually (I read the code to her, over the phone).

UPC scan uploaded to here

It was scanned at 300 dpi grayscale - it's a scan of a photocopy, so it's not the best quality, but it should print fine as-is from photoshop or similar... Hope it's what you were looking for...

Thanks! Exactly what I needed. Very much appreciate the help!

(And no, I haven't submitted too many rebates in my life - maybe 30-40 or so. I've learned my lesson!)
