Macy's will have One Day Sale today and tomorrow. There's a $10 off $25 coupon you can use by 1PM during those days. Some restrictions on the coupon, though..

They'll accept it ... they mailed out hard copies to members and they keep a copy in store and if it doesnt scan well... they scan their copy and make discount for u !

Lol it'd cost me $10 round trip just for public transportation, plus gas for the car to get to a Macy's store that actually has half decent clothes and by the time I got there they'd probably exclude everything I'd want to buy I see Ralph Lauren is excluded, but don't see Lacoste. I can assume that is too. My local Macy's sucks.

Actually it depends on the cashier with the exclusions . I had some luck in the past with one cashier , she knows about the exclusions but she gave me the items anyway. And in that same day some other cashier won't take the coupon . So YMMV . I usually follow the older cashiers because they have more "guts" . Heard from another that some of them got fired just for this issue so ....

I was there yesterday, and the computer was the one doing the excluding. Men's Nautica and Ralph Lauren/Polo were no-go. RL I understand, since they had the standard $79.50 Polo shirt for $39.99. Izod did work with the coupon (though Lacoste probably wouldn't), and to make up the rest of my $25, I got their house brand Club Room Oxford, originally $49.95, off the $9.95 rack. So I essentially got the shirt free with the coupon.
A couple of weeks ago, Macy's had a $4.99 rack in their men's department with shirts and sweaters that had started at $30-$50. So I'm fixed for shirts for a year or two at this point. I even bought 6 or 8 for my brother and shipped them to him. Their markdowns have been insane since Christmas. Thanks, recession!

Thanks. Most handbags seem to be okay other than Coach, D&b, and MK. I'm looking to get a new tokidoki bag. Hope the coupon takes!

You can use the coupon on Buy It Now items, which are the best deals anyway.

Cheap shirts, cars, electronics, etc. Don't see why we can't be thankful for at least one thing, not to mention that this recession will help to ensure we don't repeat this in the future.
Who would have thought that living off credit was a bad thing? Well, now we know. Lets make the best of what we have now.
