Got the same message. Would be nice if it would tell me that before I went through all the steps of the order process.
EDIT: Well it does tell me that it is OOS when I try to add to my cart so perhaps I was not fast enough the first tiem through.
Based on the picture (correct me if I'm wrong) this model does not supply power to a 2.5" PATA drive other than through USB. Many USB ports don't supply enough power for this. If you plan to use 2.5" PATA drives you are almost certainly better off spending a little extra to get one that has a power connector.
For SATA and 3.5" drives this kind of adapter is fine - I've been using one like it for quite some time.
It says that it comes with IDE power cable and I think the picture is wrong. I have the same set but a different brand. I think it will come with the cable because you are right, the USB port will not be able to power the IDE hard drive.

Actually, from the picture, it looks to be an IDE power adapter with an IDE power to SATA power converter connector. The actual device that converts from IDE/SATA to USB probably runs itself off of USB power.

The question is whether or not it includes an adapter for 2.5" PATA drive power or if that kind of drive will only be powered via the same USB connection that is powering the device itself. I've seen them sold both ways and based on the picture I don't think this one includes a cable for 2.5" PATA drives.
Ordered one. States a limit of one per customer. Wondering if I could order another if I had it shipped to a family member address. Might try it. Thanks OP & GREEN for you.
I'm looking to use this on a SATA DVD-RW drive I purchased & looking ot use it as an external drive. Will this cable kit do this? Looks like it will.

Ordered a 2nd one. Although it says limit one per customer -- I just did it on a 2nd order & had it shipped to another family member at my house. Order went through -- coupon worked again. Both orders paid for via PayPal.
Thanks again OP -- this kit should prove to be very handy & solve several problems.
I have the just the IDE version of this (bought on eBay from them). It doesn't work reliably. For instance, I couldn't connect a DVD drive using this to RIP. I used a USB enclosure from dealsonic (NEC chipset?) and that worked fine.
