The batteries are 2000mah (according to the package shown at the site jbierling posted- green for him)
However, current "high capacity" NiMH batteries are usually >2400mah (and up to 2800mah these days). These will still last longer in you digital camera than most non-rechargeable batteries, but not as long as newer batteries.
