That's true, but you'd only be broadcasting one side of it, the incoming and it's one such a funky channel that has nothing on it, I think the rewards out weight the Risk, due to it would greatly increase safety on the road for some people. Who drives around with their radio on 87.5 (total static) and hoping to find someone with one of these devices?
You'll always have those women who will use this and say " ohhh, goody, my hands are free to put on makeup at 65mph or a guy can now have a 4,300 calorie breakfast burrito in one hand and a 32.oz coffee in the other and driving with his knees.
For free and someone who has a normal IQ, this is a great buy.
How does this attach to the phone?> via blue tooth (if so does it have a mic)? or via 3.5" audio jack (if so perhaps I could use it for my MP3 player)?

from the description, I would say it transmits radio waves so your car can pick it up when it's on the specific frequency.

That's what I wish but it never work like that. I've purchased alot of FM transmitters and none of them actually broadcast well even within my own car. How can the next car receive the signal when my both my radio set and antenna are within 1 foot (Yes, I moved those transmitters next to antenna or radio set) and stil barely get any good hearing.
how this works is that it has a mic that goes to the speaker. and this mic broadcast to the radio and it uses the mic on the phone to talk.
get it?
cuz i only see a mic on the cradle.
i think this thing sucks. i would get a get $10 bluetooth. i bought a $16 bluetooth (shipped). its worth more than this.
technically its not free because:
1. website gets your info. mailing address and so on. 2. i think they make something out of shipping.
i dont think there is such thing as free lunch. (except da KFC grilled chicken.)
anyway its your choice. just my thought. right now im moving out and i seeing a lot of junks i bought last few years from fatwallet. haha i kinda learned my lesson. think twice.
