yes it's the same charger as the phones. got it and was pleased to find that out. bluetooth headsets aren't proprietary wireless products, meaning a headset of one brand is not limited to that brand. nokia bt headsets should be compatible with all other bt phones. bt technology is backward compatible, so 1.1 and 2.0, or 2.1 still works.
Whats up with Chief Values website? I went to place an order for this and during checkout someone elses name, address, and credit card info came up. I clicked back and then resubmitted my info and then it showed my address and someone elses credit card info. This doesn't make me feel like my credit card info is going to be safe with them so I think I will pass. Super deal though...thanks for info.

Rebate says "one visa prepaid card per qualifying accessory with a maximum of two visa prepaid card per household". The way I read it, you can only get one rebate for BH-101 per household.
Ok I bought both the 101 and the 102 from Newegg. The 101 has the volume controls but is a bit noisy. The 102 has no volume but has a clearer sound. Both work ok. Then again I've never bought a high end BT headset so I have little point of reference. It does work with Motorola so I bet they work with most phones.
with all the problems with rebates, and how many i've had that have failed, i wonder if y'all will join me in forgoing rebates? i find it to not be worth it; it would be nice if we could filter out offers that have rebates in HOT DEALS. would make sense don't you think? maybe a tab for "all deals", one for "rebate deals" and one for "no rebate deals".........sort of like how eBay does with BIN and auctions
Add me as another person with Nokia rebate issues. Submitted one (not for this product) back in April. Got an email about a month ago saying that I would be getting my rebate in about two weeks. Still nothing. I called the rebate center and they said that they would escalate the issue to the program manager. This will be my last Nokia rebate.

Same here, only been waiting since 5/19, called twice, rebate-approved, they apologize for not being able to tell me when they'll send it. So basically 3.5 mos and they are not telling me anything specific; reason- they got 3x more rebates than planned. It's just 15 bucks but I won't be buying a Nokia anymore...unless it has instant rebate...
