Got a Dynex 26" last December for $260 and we're really pleased with it. Unlike a lot of HDTVs the Dynex displays stretched SD with little artifacting. $300 for a 32" is smokin'.

Green for the early find OP
And let's all remember what we're commemorating on Memorial Day when we're barbecuin' tomorrow & Monday.
Nice deal, but looks like it doesn't have a QAM tuner:
"Add HD-capable antenna to receive over-the-air high-definition broadcasts, where available. Optional set-top box required for high-definition cable or satellite programming."
That's a deal killer for me.

Yeah, but it also says that under the Product Feature bulletpoint: "Built-in HDTV tuner"
so who knows?
Reading some of the reviews, one person seems to mention a tuner...
"This 32" T.V. is the new upgrade model DYNEX 32" LCD 10A.
"I bought this about a weak ago and it has a nice screen great for a small bedroom. Easy to setup and not too difficult to figure out the controls.
The remote is a little on the cheap side, but functional and easy to use. There is not an over abundance of buttons. I enjoy this feature.
Antenna and tuner: When I first setup the T.V. with the antenna, I felt the reds came in a little hot, and had to tweak some of the contrast, sharpness, and color. Not a big deal just takes a little time to get it right. The menu is very easy and user friendly to navigate. After I tweaked the t.v. it was fantastic. NOTE: this t.v. is a 720p, 1080i max resolution and not a true 1080p so it won't look as good as a 1080p resolution. However comparing this t.v. next to others. I felt this one had the best picture quality out of the other 32" t.v.'s I saw for $500 or more..."

Am I missing something? when i clicked on link, it brings "Our Price:$399.99", not 299.99.
Just buy it now and price match it later. If you dont want it you can return it for 100% of its value no restocking fees. No reason. Even if its opened. I work at BBY
1) Yawn! Not that amazing of a price. 2) Not 1080. 3) Peeps!!
Please, when comparing prices of TVs and posting whether it's 'amazing deal' or not, comparing the current price vs. the 'prior' prices isn't of much use when determining how great of a deal it is. It's like going to the car dealer and looking at the sticker, seeing it's $30k, cutting a deal for $25k, thinking you've gotten a great deal, when in fact, the car cost them only $20k.
From a recent issue of Nikkei Weekly newspaper - the cost price of a 32" LCD panel for the manufacturer is approximately $170 USD! Throw their box and branding on it, and it's not really amazing at $300. Maybe <$250, but not $300 since that's basically double their cost to make it.
A little math and Black Friday calculations suggest that we'll likely see <$220-250 32" panels in a few more months (yeah thanksgiving!), so unless you're in a rush or don't care about the $50-100 difference vs later......
same thing goes with 42" LCD panels where the wholesale is under $400 or so.
4) And production costs keep dropping over time for these panels, so a natural downward trend in prices can also be expected. That said, I would wait for a 32" 1080 for <$250 IMO, since 720 isn't that 'awesome of a deal' at $300 IMO. (and going from the other end, with 24" 1080 LCD displays going for <$200 on sale, you can see what I mean)

Find another 32" LCD right now for this price. Yea. And who cares if its not 1080...on a 32" WS you'll never be able to see the difference. And of course if you wait another 6 months we're bound to find a comparable deal, but I don't feel like trying to get one of the 2 that each store would have, battle lines, get trampled to death and ...o yea WAIT 6 months. By that logic there are never any good deals cuz if you wait another half year you can maybe find it cheaper somewhere. You get my vote for worst post of the year. And I have no problem waiting 7 more months for that.

I know adorable's post may seem a bit on the thread crapping side which I don't approve of, but the comment does hold weight. This TV at this price a year and a half ago would of probably needed the national guard staioned outside of Best Buy 2 days earlier before it went on sale, but today it's just a sign of the times.
I for one am going to pick this TV up simply due to the fact that you can order it online and go pick it up. NO fuss, no lines, no angry confrontations... just a regular every day purchase. But I'm not going to say it's the deal of the century by any means, nor would it be something to camp out for.
In a nutshell awesome deal, many thanks!

as was mentioned previously, you'll essentially never see the difference between 1080p or 1080i and 720p at the 32" size. Your comments about the sticker price as compared to manufacturer price of a panel is irrelevant as every product you buy will be marked up (retailers are not charity's). And your black friday suggestion loses most of its weight when you consider the time value of money. Maybe if you have time to waste it's worth it to wait in a six to eight hour line to get into a store only to wait another couple in checkout lines. That doesn't sound like it's worth $50 $100, at least to me. I think this is a pretty good (and simple) deal on a good quality panel.

Thanks Op, been waiting for a deal on a 32" LCD for the boat. This fits the bill nicely. In 4 1
sounds like a deal. only thing worries me is the quality/reliability, so the extended is a must. never had to deal with BB on a claim and wonder how'd they'd be 2 years later if this set craps out
