OD RebatecnIsfg said:FYI heads up: In April Inuit started adding in a one rebate per product per year clause in their rebate terms for many Intuit products including this QuickBooks SimpleStart 2009. According to the Staples rebate center (AKA Parago) this new limitation ALSO applies to those Intuit rebates submitted through their Staples SER front-end so beware if you have already done a Intuit QB SimpleStart 2009 recently. There have been MANY FAR deals for that Intuit product recently (ie Frys. Microcenter, Office Depot, etc...). For example, Office Depot had it FAR last week so if you got that one you can't get this one even though it is throguh Staples and a SER. is the Intuit rebate for that OD deal showing the new Intuit Limit 1 per year/per address/per year rebate restriction. It will be interesting to see if Staples updates their SER version next week with these new terms.
Also don't forget if you are a Staples EasyTech customer, May's exclusice EasyTech Staples customer coupon email includes a coupon for a free QB Simpletart 2009 from Staples.com. No rebate involved. Thanks for the headsup! I will be reading the rebate terms for the offer # this Sunday closely! Here is the link for the Office Depot Simple Start $80 Rebate Form last week. Rebate Form LINKY Limit one rebate per person, company or address per year.

This term has been in their rebate forms offered at Frys since March. I submitted my rebate anyways and I already got the check. It makes no sense with "one per year" when offer number is different. I am not surprised to see that term in the rebate form offered for OD last week since they just simpy used the same rebate form except changing offer date, purchase place etc. Limit one rebate per person, company or address per year. |

Don't mean to tread hijack but I got a quick question about Staples. Back on 4/14/09 I recycled 3 ink cartridges and I am suppose to get $12 credit. Well it's been months since I've done this and they use to hand out coupons. I went to mystaplerewards.com and I see it listed under my monthly summary. Any idea how long it takes to get the rewards? Will they email me or mail me a promo code? Will it be linked to my account? Their FAQs stink...all it says is "Your ink recycling reward will arrive each month". I really want to get the managers chair that will be on sale that's the only reason why I am asking in this tread. Thank you! |

I saw your yearly rewards pic and I have to say its impressive, however......... I got ya beat. I could go into detail, but that would be too much of an awsome display of coupon power. You do have me beat on the inks tho, I stopped going there when they stoped the $3.00 coups.Am I missing on some fun ? BTW are 25 off 75 coupons dead? I haven't seen any on ejunkie lately. I guess after the so called hack attack claimed by Staples on May 1st, they are not issuing them anymore. Correct me if I am wrong! |

Fun, maybe... For me, $210k in buys and 49k in dollar off coupons and $2700+ in ink rewards. All in 2008 H O L Y S M O K E S !!!! All that I did was try to recycle 20 ink cartridges this month (I am a premier member, and first time in 2009) and I haven't seen them credit my account yet ! And for folks like you, they should have a different premier category ! Something like GRANDDADDY PREMIUM !!! Many of us over here with premier category are nowhere close to that number ! |

Correct me if I am wrong! I would like to know what's going on as well! I've seen 25/75 lately, but after those were gone, there were no more offers on those. All I see are 20/50s which are the most common. Why haven't I heard about this hack attack? |

If you don't want it, don't buy it. But certainly don't give the OP a red for the effort of posting it. That only discourages the OP from sharing good deals in the future.
Yours is an excellent point that bears repeating: "That only discourages the OP from sharing good deals in the future." |

Didn't hear about Stap1es hack attack either. This must be the reason why they started implementing new coupon policies and the image verification system, similar to De11 Outlet. Important Restrictions:
* Coupons are not transferable. * Coupons may only be used once and cannot be used on subsequent orders. * Please observe the coupon limits on particular offers. Note: there is a 10-coupon maximum for any single order. * Void where prohibited. * No cash or credit back. * Coupon must be submitted at time of order. * Expired coupons are not valid. * Tax and delivery are not included in calculating minimum purchase requirement. * Coupons are not valid on previous purchases. * Only one "Dollars off" coupon per purchase. (See definition below.) * Minimum purchase requirement for "Dollars off" coupon must be met with purchases to which no other coupon or instant savings offer applies. * "Product specific" coupons may be combined with other coupons as long as the purchase requirement of each coupon is met independently. (See definition below.) * Staples RewardsSM checks can be redeemed on any order. * Limit one per customer * Not valid on downloadable software, services, business service provider or custom-printing service provider web sites, gift cards or postage stamps. * We reserve the right to charge credit cards for the amount of the coupon. Definitions: * "Dollars off" coupons provide a general discount on your order total. * "Product specific" coupons provide a discount on a specific product. Staples.com reserves the right to reject orders that use a coupon code that was obtained from a bulletin board or other Internet site. Staples.com also reserves the right to reject orders that use a coupon code that was transferred from a direct mail recipient or that are in violation of any coupon restriction listed above. If our system does not accept your coupon code and you believe you are the holder of a valid coupon, please contact our customer service group at 1-800-3STAPLE (1-800-378-2753). |

Limit one rebate per person, company or address per year. but if the offer number IS DIFFERENT, than it's ONE PER YEAR for that offer number. doesn't say limit one per year per product! |

There was no hack attack that is why you never heard about one. Staples corporate implemented the Captcha coupon entry system on Staples.com to slow-down/prevent automated scripting from those like the e-Junie sellers. The scripting got to the point scripting was frequently bringing the Staples.com/Staples.ca sites to a crawl with their automated coupon "guessing" programs. You didn't really think the e-junkie sellers were getting all those coupons from emails did you? Staples is also phasing out generic $$ off email based coupons in favor of product specific coupon promotions base don a customer’s prior spending habits (ala Amazon.com). Staples just implemented a new coupon random coupon checksum generator program this month. Their older system used a seeded sequential coupon generator which generated coupons that were not stored and verified to be generated by a legitimate promotion . This will certainly makes coupon generators MUCH harder to write. These new Staples.com 16 digit coupon formats with "true" random sequences and Staples account checksums (well as true as random generators can be) use dashes between every 4 digits and unlike the older 16/5 digit Staples.com coupons these will not work at Staples in-store kiosks. For example, here is free Staples.com one time use coupon in the new Staples.com coupon format for someone who wants to use it: $20 of any APC UPS $100 or more enter coupon code 4857-0950-1116-5384 exp 6/12 Here’s how to redeem: Order by phone at 1-866-321-8128 or online at Staples.com/easytech. When ordering, mention or enter the item number and corresponding coupon code shown above. |
