Good Deal.

how did you get 8.2% CashBack? I only see 5%.

never mind. figured out you need to go to bing.com and search "TigerDirect"

wish I knew about this yesterday

Really nice deal OP, too bad the integrated graphics aren't at least the Intel 4500M HD. Everything else is great with it.... Sigh.

man,,, i should have wait. i bought 2 from circuit city which is the same as tirgerdirect but i didnt get 5%

My first time using bing (live.com)... how long does it take pending CashBack to appear in my account?

This is the feature that hesitated me since last week. I just want the laptop to play my recorded satellite video in 1080i.

gr8.deal.thanks

It takes a few hour for the Cash Back to show in your bing accoun, then 60 days to request the money into your paypal account / or request a check to your home.

thanks ob. I just bought this laptop with 15% bing Cash Back.

Same here. $75 Cash Back pending in bing acct. HOT!

no tax/$16 fee for cali, great deal

I got in with the 15%, I really couldn't say no for 425.

No Firewire otherwise I'd have ordered one already. Great deal with the 15% B(l)ing.

Thanks! In 4 one. No tax and almost free shipping. Can't resist at this price with %15 Bing. Chipset is a bit obsolete but it may be able to play 1080i videos, not 1080p ones.

If you can wait till June-26 you will get Free WIn-7 upgrade.....

Tempting but I'll pass since it doesn't have wireless N and only a 5400RPM hdd. Plus I'll get hit with NJ tax. Good deal overall though. Green to OP.

Props to rebuilder over at sd for thinking of this. Any one know if it'll actually work? It's the only thing holding me back

A few questions concerning the free upgrade to Windows 7?
If I waited to startup (activate vista) the laptop for a few weeks when the program starts would it be possible to get the free upgrade?
Does this download work thru the OEM (Gateway) or directly from the Microsoft website?
How can they(Gateway or MS) tell when it was purchased other than when it was activated?
Thanks for any replies! I tried reading thru those links but couldn't find any specifics.

Darn it, I bought it with only 8.2%.
Thanks, I've updated the price in title.

Same here, but I bought another one with 15%, I am going to do "return to sender" earlier one which I bought with 8.2%

Is there anybody can tell me how to get the 15% Cash Back?

TigerDirect seems to have a very strict return policy. If you refuse delivery they may charge you a restocking fees. Very tempted to order with higher CB but holding off after reading the return policy.

Anybody has experience with refusing TigerDirect delivery?

No tax in NJ. Tax is charged only in FL, IL, and NC.

That's what I'm afraid too. If I have to send back to refund, then the shipping cost would equate almost the same.
And it seems like the 15% is not working right now. When I tried clicking on the 15% link, it didn't ask for email.

I've added into the summary the answer to your question.

I see 5% Cash Back on Bing now...anyone else?

I see 15% but when I clicked the link, it didn't ask for my email . Look like it dead

I'm showing 15% on everything at TigerDirect.
On Bing /logged in, try the following search "TigerDirect Bing CashBack"
If it does not work, copy the below into address bar (on logged in Bing View)

when you click link, bing.com doesnt ask for the email address. the bing CashBack shows on the TigerDirect cart on the right side of your screen.
what i did was log into bing and stay logged in - search TigerDirect - then click the link with 15% off.
check the cart on the right side.. it should show bing CashBack.

Is the Cash Back dead? I still see the 15% CashBack on bing but when I added the laptop to cart, I didn't see anywhere on the page indicating CashBack at all. I have tried IE 6.0 and FF3.0.1, both giving me the same thing. Anybody can confirm as of 4:40PM central they are still able to get the Cash Back?
