It was also the only item reviewed by most of them, just coincidence?
The Mythbusters made it look pretty easy to defeat one of these, though it might take a little social engineering, like "accidentally" handing the wrong CD to the victim to steal their fingerprints. Kind of ironic that it's easier to defeat one of these high tech locks than a keyed lock at less than 1/4 the price.

Uh...I think there are a lot of videos showing how regular key locks are incredibly easy to break into and don't require you to have any contact with the owner. Most locks fail with simple "bumping" techniques. I would say these fingerprint ones are better since these would require premeditated planning.
Nice deal by the way.

Does anyone know how hard it is to install one of these? Thanks in advance
I HAVE DONE ALOT OF RESEARCH ON THESE LOCKS AND FROM A PERSON WHO BARELY KNOWS HOW TO HOLD A SCREW DRIVER I INSTALLED THIS BABY IN 20 MINUTES.
I was gone away on a trip and to my surprise it was already installed by her when I returned from my business trip. if a woman with two left hands can install this anyone can
I tested with a few friends and its extremely easy to setup and reset entry.

That is what I use for my kids.
Your kids can reach the doorknob but haven't figured out how to move chairs around?
If this is like the Fingerprint feature on the IBM laptops, then it is very easy to beat. On the IBM Laptop, all it takes is a photocopy of your finger print and it has been beaten.

Note to self: IF I purchase and install this, do NOT leave photocopies of my fingerprints all over the place.

Why the hell are you grocery shopping without any pants on?!?

Re: SD vs FW.
Clearly you people check them both - so what difference does it make? I check both, both help me blow money. Everyone wins. Does it really matter in the long run?

They have! well sorta... Just buy one of these and keep the access card in your back pocket or crack if you don't wear pants. These can be programmed to allow access for up to 500 "unique butts"

BUT, Does anyone know this company's reputation and what their return policy is?
I can't find anything on their web site?
Not a good sign.

Those reviews do look a little fishy being so close together...maybe they were written by Biolock employees?
Another bad sign:
No phone number or street address on their website.

terrible deal for a biometric lock!!! i know this guy is sold out now, but i beleive he these in bulk from asia. Everytime he posts them on eBay, he has 50-100 units!!!
I bought 1 for my house, for $90 (expired), so i only paid like $~70! then i waited and waited for him to get more in stock.. it took over a month. One day i checked and he had another 80 units. Once available, i bought a second unit for my office door at work. he had them this time for only $80!
