3GS isn't even showing up on the premier site for me, only on the non-premier one.

ii.You must purchase the items specific to the CashBack program and activate new wireless service on a qualified rate plan with a two¿year contract. Upgrades, add-a-lines and GoPhone (prepaid) service are not eligible for the CashBack program.

What constitutes an "Upgrade" exactly? I know certain people have like 6 months to a year before they can upgrade to a new phone at a discounted rate, but what about people who've had their phones for more than 2 years? Would that be considered a new contract? And if so, does that mean you would have to get a new # also?

Yea, I saw that too. Therefore, if I sign up on the regular site, I guess I will have to use the "Verification Link" on the premier site to verify my eligibility.

So according to the CashBack terms add a lines are also excluded, so how would i be able to take advantage of the CashBack and add a line to my family plan? Should I go through the regular site(i have premier) and order with an individual plan and then when i get the phone, call in and merge the plan into my current family plan? Is that possible without any penalties? Will bing check and disqualify the CashBack if I do that?

How stupid are they? The new iPhone 3Gs supports tethering in EVERY SINGLE COUNTRY EXCEPT the USA...

Now, to see how long it takes before someone figures out how to hack tethering back into the new iPhones...

Still waiting for it to show up on the Premier web site. According to that I am eligible to upgrade, but cannot order from the regular store. Anyone know of a work-around?

yeah they need LTE to support tethering.

then again you could use a winmo cheapie and do tethering or heck even an ancient palm. AT&T is just string iphone customers and taking them for a ride with their pants down.

Got an email from Bing this morning, after my midnight purchase:
"You earned $69.65 from your AT&T Store purchase on 6/9/2009."

Not in my state friend. You should write your congressmen.

If you have an AT&T Universal Savings credit card, you can save 10% off of your AT&T bill the first year by having an equal amount of non AT&T charges each month. $100 phone bill + $100 in groceries, gas, whatever = $10 statement credit. Drops to 5% after the first year. Combine this with a Premier account!

Can I ask where/how you got this? These reference Live Search CashBack and the program name has changed with the name change to Bing. I'd like to make sure these are valid, current T&Cs.

I doubt if you will see it there before the 19th.

The 3G S is now available for pre-order on the website as of 10 minutes ago when I did it.

what are the offers if we order thru at&t premiere website. Also it is not showing up on at&t premeire website.

alert mods

Does anyone know if my boyfriend and I could each order an iphone online (first time customers) and then change to a family plan and also add the premier discount?

alert mods

Not on my premier sight either.

But I think I am going to stick with my unlocked and jailbroken 16GB 3g version for a while and not get this. I was checking out the rate plans and compared to my local provider even with my discount they are expensive compared to what I have already. It only cost $5 a month for unlimited texting on mine, but AT&T wants 20.00 and that is not eligible for discount.

alert mods

I can't get the CashBack option to show up on bing.

I think you can sign into the premiere sight after you've got the phone and then get the discounts though.
