They are so corporate now.

Its more like our affinity to save and full knowledge of suggested retail price. Its one of the many reasons why we hate Tiger Direct with such a fashion. Their misrepresentation of facts (flat out liars). How can you trust someone who do such deceptive advertising. They mistake FWers-who as I noted are mostly informed shoppers- for fools.

Yes, some of us may have FAT wallet but we are here because we know value so treat us with some respect. Even the un-inform here will get corrected by the collective price intelligent of the community.

Also for your info: Tiger Direct used to do worse things like enroll your credit cards in services that you didn't order. Stuffs that are pretty much at the borderline of legality.

You realize that the OP is a member of FW staff ... it was in essence if not in fact, a paid commercial.

The only way TD can get customers is to rebrand as other bankrupt companies (CC/CUSA) and hope the users are not smart enough to do a price check

Of course i know op was fw hence my advice to report the topic and bring to their attention that the ad was basically a scam. It might not affect this ad because fw has probably already been paid and approved it, but if they know people think the post was a scam they will think twice before posting similar paid adverts.

Dont know about you all but I bought a Panasonic Blu-Ray DMP-BD60 player last week for 219.00!!!! no tax and free shipping. Thought it was a pretty good deal.
