How do you think FW stays in business and pays FC - ADVERTISING!!! Anyone who reads the Hot Deals and Deal Discussion forums is well aware of TD's practices, and the fact that they keep buying defunct business names in an attempt to improve their image.

Believe it or not, TD is a profitable entity, so they have customers, including many here on FW. Search the hot deals forums, and you will find DOZENS of deals posted by users. There are PLENTY of opportunities to flame TD, CompUSA and CC in user threads - I for one do not believe in biting the hand that feeds you...

Ouch! You stuck it to us Shank. Freedom to bite is a FW right (cliche modification).

judyneric said:So the Nintendo Wii, which sells everywhere for an MSRP of $249, has $50 off an inflated "Original Price" $299, thus making the Wii the same price as everywhere else?

Did the Wii MSRP go up by $50, or is this new Circuit City worse than the old one?

Actually, in the game Smarty Pants for Wii, one of the questions is what was the original retail price of the Wii when released in the US, and the answer is $249.
