When they say de-branded, do they literally mean someone has pried the HP logo out of the front of the monitor? I'm tempted to order a couple of these, but don't want to buy them if they are all scratched up/broken in the front from "de-branding"

I got one from Mwave a few weeks ago. It had some funky sticker on the front bezel. I removed it and it says "HP W2408" under the sticker. I love this thing! I paid 215 shipped for mine so this is a good deal!

I have one of these I bought earlier in the year. I don't know how they removed the HP logo, but there is no damage. The one I got looks like new.

Have those who have bought these refurbished monitors before had any problems like dead pixels, ect?

Sold out.

Is it really HP?? I tried to click on the pic to zoom in and verify the logo, but.....

TN panel.

Honestly, $200 for a refurbished TN 24" panel isn't a particularly great deal. You can find new ones for that price (barely).

yeh this no-input-lag mva "SVA 2400W" i paid $225 shipped last BF; not like the prices have changed much from then till now.

for that price i'd think anything but TN is hot. heck you can get a samsung TOC HDTV (with decent tuner and nice bezel) for $199 if you look around (refurb).

'around there? It's 269 and it's 'refurbished' too.

EDIT: Sorry technically 254 + 15 shipping. So we're comparing 269 shipped to 204 shipped. I'd wager 65 bucks is abotu the same or more than the price difference on a a new 24" and a new 24" with a tuner so you're not really saying anything.
