Reading the specs....I didn't see what was so extreme...class 6 guarantees 6MB/s write...and lots of cards read much faster...e.g. my 8GB that reads at 25+...

but looking around the web, I found this (from here):

COLOGNE, GERMANY, SEPT. 29, 2004 – SanDisk Corporation (NASDAQ:SNDK) today introduced the world’s fastest flash memory cards – the SanDisk Extreme ™ III line of CompactFlash â , SD ™ and Memory Stick PRO ™ digital film cards. The CompactFlash and SD cards have minimum write and read speeds of 20 megabytes per second (MB/sec.).

20MB/s write on a SDHC card is pretty impressive. Nice deal OP.
