Reading the specs....I didn't see what was so extreme...class 6 guarantees 6MB/s write...and lots of cards read much faster...e.g. my 8GB that reads at 25+...
but looking around the web, I found this (from here):

20MB/s write on a SDHC card is pretty impressive. Nice deal OP.

Not only that but this is the more recent 30MB/sec edition, which is able to do 30MB/sec sequential read and writes.
Perhaps a bit overkill though for anything less than a DSLR. But there can still be some speed improvement on a P&S depending on how quick the camera's buffer and memory subsystem is, or if the card being replaced is really slow.

beach camera is pretty good about honoring orders if you placed them while the item(s) were in stock.

FW says that you can't have items in our cart before you click the CB link. I don't think this will work, as I have tried in the past without success.
Good deal. I had been looking at the product page almost every day to see if it got back down to $8 or less, as it did then, and noticed it dropped down to $5.99 yesterday. So far my order hasn't been cancelled.

-Glen All you had to do was look in the title (or the picture of the card on the beachcamera website), and it says these are (the newer) 30MB/s cards.
cant seem to find my order anymore when i search for it but i didnt get a cancellation email. i also didnt get a credit to my account. any thoughts on this?
