In-home service is offered by the manufacturer on large TV's and may be your most convenient option. Defective items may be returned within 30 days of the purchase date for replacement or upgrade. I took advantage of this deal a couple of months ago and I'm glad I did. It's a great TV for the price. I saw the A750 for sale for $1500 shipped around the forums somewhere about a week or so ago, which is a positively smoking deal, but the 630 for the same money is still great.
On August 1, 2009 at Fry's City of Industry B&M, I picked up this Samsung LN52B630 Television set for the advertised price of $1499.99 and it came with a FREE SAMSUNG BD-P1600 Blu-ray player (valued at ~227.99 in store). After tax in CA, everything came out to be $1670.70.
The free Blu-ray disc player was a one day in-store special for most 52" TVs and up.

Do your research and read your reviews before you buy. If you don't feel comfortable buying something sight unseen, don't buy it. If it is defective, they will replace it. Sounds fine to me.
