Anyone know what the quality of these are?

Very poor quality: sharp edges, thin steel.

Stay away!

Thanks. REI has some good quality steel water bottles on sale for $10. 2 for $5 would be a bargain if these were decent quality.

Have you actually seen them Delta or are you just talking trash?

I have about 3 of these. I bought them in Las Vegas and used them to put my liquor in and walk around with it hooked on my belt loop.

There is nothing wrong with these bottles. My drinks stayed cold for quite awhile (meaning 'till I finished them).

When one place had $1 margaritas, we just kept filling up our bottles.

Interesting review -- how can stainless steel "rust"??? Must really be poor quality.

You probably didn't care how they worked. Anyway, it's only 50 cents off the regular price.

Check your local store stock here: http://www.walgreens.com/store/product.jsp?CATID=305123&id=prod4...
All my local stores do not stock this item.

I have been very happy with my Klean Kanteen. Not necessarily fat wallet friendly prices but well built.

I was unable to find the bottles at REI. More details please. Thanks.

I have one of these from REI: http://www.rei.com/REI-Outlet/product/791019
Price was $10 last month, I guess it is $13 now.
Quality if pretty good. The cap threads easily and seals well.

I also had considered getting the bottles, until I read this. http://www.recyclingforcharities.com/blog/?p=17

wow, thats the deal breaker for me

Sept 2009: FYI, now Sigg admits that their bottles have always had BPA in them -- I would be worried about any manufacturer's bottle, until I knew for sure.

Sigg bottles are aluminum with a plastic liner. Steel bottles do not have a liner. You may still want to be careful of generic bottles made of possibly lower quality steel, though.
