ok, so here is my situation. I placed the order yesterday and never got a pick up notice. couldnt call back cause they were closed so this mourning i called and they said my order got canceled because there was a problem with my Sears credit card. On hold right now and they say they can only offer me 15% off instead of 500 because the sale is over. on hold with a supervisor now... have to call back as supervisor is busy at the moment....runaround. megaman, is it worth it to try to get that 500 discount over the phone with the supervisor or would i have a better chance doing the giftcard instore? is the discount confirmed to still be going on instore? |

"im just a technology geek that wants the newer/est thing. All my panels are still serving duty in other households of family and friends." When do we get our own organization? TG Anonymous. It is a disease, or at least should be in my opinion |

thx for posting this... I cancelled my surround system yesterday and got a confirmation email today. I tried to cancel over the phone by calling the Customer Pickup folks but they said they couldn't do it. He said to call the dot com folks so I did just that. Told her I was going to pick it up at another store nearby that had it in stock already. She said no problem. Just thought people would want to know for the next sale! Thanks again! |

Where I live (NYC) that thing costs over $350 a year to run 8 hours a day. 1200W x ~.20 per kwhr By contrast, my LN52A630 uses only 235W on average per my kill-a-watt meter. |

By contrast, my LN52A630 uses only 235W on average per my kill-a-watt meter. I can't imagine having the free time to watch 8 hours of TV per day! Geez! As such I have no problem paying more for a plasma which gives me a superior pictures with far better black levels. Then again I don't have to pay several thousand dollars a month for a few hundred square feet to live in either! |

The black is just not good at all. Most of the time, I couldn't tell the difference between Batman and the dark surrounding! I think it is time for me to get a Plasma HDTV. |
