Grrrrr......thought too long!

Even though it is OOS now, Crutchfield does allow you to reserve this item at that price and will honor that price when it comes into stock again. Because this is such an excellent price, this is the model I want, and I am willing to wait awhile for it, I reserved one. The $20 off of $100 did work, free shipping, and no tax in FL. If I see it cheaper or change my mind and decide not to get it before it ships, I can cancel the order. Crutchfield was not able to tell me exactly when it will be in stock again, but since I'm not in a huge hurry, I can give them some time and see. Thanks, OP.

does this gps have the 2009 or 2010 Maps?

In for one thx OP.

I reserved one, I hope they get them within 2-3 weeks, $129 was too cheap to pass on. Especially with all the positive reviews on the unit.

even if it has 2009 maps, you will be able to upgrade for free.
Both tomtom and Garmin give you the latest map guarantee.
Only bad thing with garmin is, it does not give you the latest
software. But Garmin has no plans to release any any new software.

There are four steps before you confirm to buy this item. When do you need to enter the code to get $20 off?

First step. When you add it to your cart, look at the bottom of page in the middle...."Special Offers and Catalog Code"

I agree.. Garmin software is only meant for ppl who don't really do anything with their GPS. Most of the road, Garmin don't display their name. It seem the detail view is only for the 2D, not the 3D.

BTW, for those who looking for a gps with Traffic report thing... don't. It's not worth the $. The traffic is incorrect most of the time (from what i've experienced personally).

My 750 displays the names in 3D mode, you just need to zoom in to where the screen would otherwise be completely cluttered. I see road names with at least 1/4-1/2 mile showing ahead on the screen.

How do you reserve one?
