There are quite a few FAR items and some almost free! Hot!

links are defaulting to circular link, FAR items are shown in the circular which you can browse. I did, and for some of the links it still comes up with that message, their website is weird I guess, but I still found that amusing. Thanks for the laugh if nothing else.

With all the companies and even rebate companies going out of business these days, is it a good idea to spend on the hope of getting a rebate? I've quit buying gift cards and never a rebate either. Besides the months it takes to get your money back, they reject your rebate form for no reason and then the hours you have to then put into it to get your $3.00 back, which they obviously hope you will forget. Nope, no more rebates for me.
ACE rebates are very easy and reliable. You can submit them online using numbers from your receipt (If you sign up for their rewards program) and not even have to cut out UPC labels and spend time and postage to mail.

Ace is reliable, your concerns are unfounded with this deal IMO.

You may as well quit visiting Fatwallet Hotdeals, it will only break your heart to see all the deals with rebates.

Hi, I had some trouble accessing the July 4th ad and only could manage getting the March ad (good for the whole month). However the March ad had all the mentioned FAR except the Off ($1.49 AR) and the Insect Killer ($.99AR).
I did manage to see the July 4th ad for the Evergreen Park, IL store (not my state even) and it too had the above mentioned items with the Off and Insect Killer not FAR. So perhaps this varies with the store.
Just thought I'd let you all know in case you can't get to the July 4th Ad.
Will
Well, the gist of the above is correct, you might not have a July 4th Ad for your store and when you do it might not have the same FAR items. Additionally, the July ad (good through 7/31) for your store may have some FAR so it would be worth a look too. For instance at my store location they had the following FAR items in July ad.
Adhesive Caulk 12075
Organic auto Glass Cleaner 8225344
Biodegradeable Car Wash 8225294
Automative Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner #8250003/8110918

Will I think you're right, looks like these deals are regional (?) The OFF is $1.49AR here too, and the Insect Killer (4 rebates) is also $0.99AR. Everything else looks like it's FAR around here, so I guess it'd be worth a trip to Ace today. Just hope the rebates are as easy as mentioned above, that would be nice.

Is anyone else having a hell of a time navigating the online flyer? When its zoomed out I can't read anything and when its zoomed in I can't scroll it around. Yeesh.
edit: Switch to the HTML view and its much better. Is anyone kind of let down by the Ace deals this year? What happened to the good stuff like grills and tools? For the last couple years I've got some great stuff at Ace on the 4th, but this year is kinda meh.
handyguy said: I think they changed their rebate processor, now up to 8 weeks to get it. Takes longer to get them now I noticed, but still easy to apply. They still use Parago (aka rebatesHQ).
The deal is regional - I entered several zipcodes in Northern California and got the "No Current In-Store Specials At This Location". Typing in 60609 for Chicago pulls up the deal with FAR items. Perhaps they do not want to take the risk of getting IOU's from the credit card companies for California residents.

The price at which you finally get ends out to be regional. For example all the bug cleaners are $0.99 and not FAR in my area.
Also, Correct me If I am wrong, but many deals are running through end of July and not ending on July 6th.
There's also a printed coupon for 50% off 1 non-sale item up to $30 valid 7/3 and 7/4 that's in some newspapers. I don't have a scan but the bar code on the coupon is 80036302. Might tell them that you forgot to bring it and try to have them enter it manually.

I do too. They really do have helpful employees. I guess I know where I'm going today.
Thanks OP.

BTW, My last Ace rebates are taking longer than usual.
My store didn't have the circular online but they did have the flyer in store.
FYI it's not in the circular, but the $5 rebate on cutter backyard insect killer is a great deal. You connect a hose and spray your backyard and it's bug free for up to a month.

Incredibly strange, since rebatestatus.com AKA continental promotion group declared bankruptcy last year and stopped paying out rebates.
A bunch of FW members were stuck in the lurch, huge thread in deal discussion. I eventually got most rebatestatus rebates paid out by the retailers or manufacturers but it was a huge headache.
I have never done any ACE rebates and need some help. On line ad shows that my local store in central NJ has rebates but in the store they told me there is no ad this week. I bought FAR items. How do I file the rebate on line? Thanks.

Did you get the items at the FAR price? If not, they are not FAR! Anyway, the only way to submit online is if you use your ACE rewards card at the store. Otherwise, you have to mail in.
Oh, and not all stores participate in the rebate program. You should always call ahead and ask.
If the store doesn't mention that it's FAR then you may need to download the rebate form.
Even if you can get your rebate online the store should have paper rebate forms if your item is on sale. You should be able to download that at the website too.
