Can toner dry up/become useless over time (like ink)? |

I think all toners are dry... I probably should've said absorb moisture. My main wonder is, since I don't print that much, will I even be able to get the full capacity from the toner. I'm still mad at HP after I bought a XL color ink cart and printed like 3 color pages and it was dried up (2-3 years). |

Toner is a carbon polymer blend. It should last a long time if not used. we have HP 4100's on the shelf at work that come off from time to time and we just give the toner a good shake and its good to go again. Using quality original toners helps a bit too. |

I do think this is dead. When I change quantity of duplexer to 0 it now removes the coupon |

The replacement toner is outrageously expensive. What good is this "throwaway printer" if the toner runs out at 1000 pages? Even without tax, that's 15 cents per page. |

Coming from someone who got in on it while it worked, it's dead now. RIP |

I ordered this last night, and tonight my account shows no orders in the past 45 days. I received an order acknowledgement email, but no order confirmation email. Anyone else have the same experience? Also, I just noticed this at the bottom of the email: # Dell reserves the right to cancel any orders arising from pricing or other errors. So I'm not holding my breath... |

I'm totally flumoxed with this discussion of the duplexer. What is a duplexer, how big is it, in addition to the already large printer, and does it come free for $152? http://dealnews.com/Dell-2130-cn-Color-Laser-Printer-for-152-free-shipping/306302.html |

Sorry for the second post. The first didn't show up till I created the second. Is this price including the duplexer or not? Just a yes or no, please. Also, is the toner expensive or not? I don't know what a 4 pack means. Is that 4 cartridges? 4 colors? I looked at a Brother machine with a duplexer HL-4070cdw I think, and it costs 3/7 cents for black/color. How does this compare? |

It's been "in production" since the 5th, but I just got an email stating that the delivery date has slipped from July 7th to July 15th. Keep in mind that I live about 2 miles from Dell's Round Rock campus, so we shall see when it actually goes out the door. This thing better ship... I just bought a 1GB RAM upgrade off of Newegg for $13. :-P |
