i was going to order one but when i got to checkout they are charging me tax, which knocks it up to $70. why tax? they have no B&M in Kansas, i checked their list of stores. sorry, i don't pay tax on web purchases, that's half of the point.
I bought one of these at a Black&Decker outlet b&m store about 2 months ago. It cost about the same, but came with a free second battery at the store, which made it well worth the money. It does a great job on my siding, and I don't have to worry about a pressure washer forcing moisture behind the siding. On this job I'd rate it a B+. Have used the soft brush on the car, and it did a good job there, as well. It also has taken tire marks off my driveway. All in all a good deal, IMO.
Folshack said: This may be great for cleaning carpet, cement, etc.. But I wouldn't use it on my car, unless you have a beater car and don't mind scratching it up. I agree. If you have a newer car this would totally srew up the paint job

Yep. If I spend the money for it, then I'll have to use it. lol
Actually I've been looking for something like this to clean up high where the powerwasher alone doesn't really get to very well and it's tough to push a brush when I'm 20 feet up on a ladder. We'll see how this does.
Good find. Thanks.

Hey all. Menards has this jewel on sale through the end of July 2009, for 29.95. You get the unit, the extension wands. You get a mesh carrying bag. One battery and the charger. Two 8" brushes one for car and one fo siding and cement. No kidding. They had over 100 in their store in Lincoln Nebraska today July 12, 2009. I bought two. You cannot buy the battery for that, nor can you buy a replacement charger for 29.99. Check out your Menards. They are first quality and not refurbs either. 2 year warranty.
Also bought one at Menards in Rockford IL for $29.99 and I am very pleased. Not sure if battery pack life would be affected much, but the date code on mine is from 2007.
