Yes, lots of times. They generally don't ship immediately - it might take a week - but they do ship and I've never had any difficulty with them sending defective merchandise / overcharging / credit card fraud / whatever other issue you want.

Everything I've gotten from them has been exactly as advertised. In fact, I ordered Microsoft Laser Desktop for Mac from them today (wireless keyboard / mouse) for $20, shipped (and lots of good reviews on that model).

i've ordered from them getting the 2gb micro sd card and adapter. i think it took a long time like 3 weeks to arrive, but i wasn't in a hurry so there you go, if you're in a hurry order from other places, but i received my items and no problems with them.

Though this looks like a great deal, and I would love to buy this product at that price from them, I don't trust ordering from them from what I've read.

Everyone complains about everything... Costco has even more complaints
http://www.consumeraffairs.com/retail/costco.html

and most of us know that Costco is a great company to do business with.

very off topic but that costco one is a gem for good stories.

"as my husband and I were walking towards the exit door, we were pushing our basket, when all of a sudden one of my legs went flying out in front of me and my other leg went behind me, causing me to do the spilts and fall to the ground. I fell hard, my left leg hit the bottom of the basket around the wheel area causing pain and a bruse that lasted for more than 3 weeks, when I fell I landed on my right hand and wrist. I was very embaresset and just wanted to leave, but my Husband and another lady who saw me fall convenced me to file a report. after one week I was still having a lot of pain in my wrist so i called my doctor for appointment. I had to pay the doctor visit, doctor will not bill my insurance due to this being an injury at Costco. I still have a lot of pain in my wrist and my hand when bending my thumb towards center of my hand. this whole thing is very stressful and Costco refuses to take responabilty for this and I have not been able to follow up with the doctor as I can not afford the out of pocket expence. The pain is becoming worse and some days I'm not able to use my right hand."

It's probably very similar to the Holux Slim 240. I've used it with a PalmTX with tomtom software. It works well when it works. Sometimes the Palm doesn't connect to the gps. I have to shut both of them down and retry again a couple of times. It does require that you have a map or GPS program that can use the bluetooth gps. I know this is cheap but if you want a GPS, you should just go for the $90 tomtom XL-S refurb that's been posted recently. It'll probably give you less headache.

Is there a way you can integrate this GPS into the netbook?

It depends on your definition of "integrate". You can use superglue. Duck Tape would probably work fine with silver colored netbooks.

Just because you fell in Costco that does not make them responsible. Unless Costco was actually negligent and caused you to fall why would you expect Costco or any other retailer to pay for your carelessness? Also I don't believe your doctor actually refused to bill your insurance due to you injury occurring in Costco. That is simply absurd. Plus, you can always simply submit your bills directly to your insurance for reimbursement. If Costco thought they were even remotely responsible they would pay no questions asked. That is why they carry excellent liability insurance. Obviously if Costco refused to file a liability claim on your behalf after you reported it there is a whole lot you are not telling here.

What about Blackberries? I have an 8703e ( I believe it's an "e") (Sprint).

The 8703 sould work well with this BT GPS receiver. The 8703 is one of the few smartphones that supports concurrent active BT connection streams so yo ucan still use your BT heaset and this GPS at the same time on he 8703.

I mean put in, not glue on. But U knew I mean that. is there space inside the base panel?

I don't support either of you as I don't know the incident well, but, I am wondering on your statement. Are you an employee of Costco or did you face similar situation and telling us based on your experience?

Thats not my story, just one I found and I thought the same thing as you. And it does seem a little exaggerated. The last line " I won't be able to use my right hand" is over the top

Thanks OP.
in 4 1.

It wouldn't be as convenient as regular GPS with the bigger screen, but I always wanted to try it with my phone.

So, can we use it to convert ipod touch into a GPS device ? (this device + some free GPS software or at least, some offline maps ?)

I use a holux m-241 (bluetooth) with my cell phone all the time. does geocaching and basic gps. i wouldn't use it for road navigation. The m-241 is also a data logger that creates a track file of your position, which I then use to see where I hiked, biked, etc. and to geocode my photos.

i think this is good since i can just leave it in the glove compartment, and since i share my 97 honda accord 210000 miles car with my brother and we both have smartphones with BT, whoever needs it just turn the device on and go from there.

What kind of cell phone? Big difference between something running windows mobile vs. a RAZR

Old-fashioned and useless unit.

If you need a GPS, go get one with a screen, only < $100. Don't waste money on this.

It makes a nice combo wit my Palm 700wx. Even though the packaging on the GPS unit says AT&T, I had no problems using it with the Sprint phone.
Oh, and I'm using Google Maps as the software. As long as the SERO plan will still be in effect, I see no problems using it.
